Title: Does anyone have any idea what this is?
Post by: Indigo_Raine on March 16, 2007, 05:01:02 pm
Hi. I was just wondering if maybe anyone could tell me what this is or what was going on.

About three weeks ago, I was sitting in class and working on a project in the computer room along with the other students.
I seem to be the only one who noticed this. I felt someone behind me. Then I heard someone speak in a language that does not exist as of today (there's always a chance that it did a great many years ago but I don't know for sure). It only spoke three words (I can't really tell you what it said because I was more curious as to who it was at the time). I could feel their breath on the back of my neck, as if they were no more than two inches away from me at maximum. I spun around only to see that no one was there.
Normally I would say that it was another of my classmates trying to mess with me but none of them could have moved away that fast. All of them were at least four feet away, minus the one who sits next to me but I could already see him. They were also all working.
To give you an idea of what they voice sounded like. If any of you have ever seen Lord of the Rings 1, where Gandalf is sifting through papers and reading them, it sounded kind of like that voice mixed with Soron's.
If any of you have any idea, pleas let me know.

Could you explain the words? Like what they spoke, but it doesn't have to be accuarate.

Soujourn Morde + something else of that sort. Don't really know for sure if that is right.

Soujourn could mean sojourn which means a temporary stay or something temporary, the Morde could have been Morte, which means death in French...

Temporary death?

Interesting, very. Does your school or area have a historical past?

Area in general, yes. The school is about four years old so I'd say no.

Any history dating back to the Revolutionary War or French settlement? Otherwise, it may be tongues which would mean a demon...

I'd do what I do. A bit of gold, a bit of salt, some iron, and a crucix should do the job. All that stuff tends to help me in a tight spot.

Yes, our area does date back a very long time but I can't really say for sure how long. I'm taking french in school along with some other languages. They're just things I like to study. I don't recognize it though.
Anyway, I can't say I'm really afraid of it. I figure that if it is here, it must need something or want me to know something. It just took me a bit off guard because I haven't actually heard anything in voices before. I only used to see but that was ages back.

If this happens again, then I might become more concerned.  Sometimes this sort of thing is indeed nothing more than a trick, sometimes it isn't.  If strange things continue to happen I think we might be able to offer more advice and assistance on the topic.  Until more specifics are known, we're sort of just grasping at straws, unfortunately.

Now, when you used to see things, what exactly do you mean and how long ago was it?  Was it a vision where you saw something but knew it wasn't there, or one where it seemed completely real, perhaps?

Yes, I know I'm trying to grab a hold of just threads but I was just hoping I might find an answer.

I used to see spirits or ghosts. Many of them. I was always fully awake. They'd stay there for hours around time it got dark out. I was between ages 3 and 6.

I'd say just keep your ears open.  If it's something important, I'm sure whatever it may have been will let you know.

So you saw actual forms with your eyes or with your mind?  I'm wondering because it's a somewhat important distinction between the feeling of those things and using your minds eye to know their presence and the physically seeing them.

From my belief children see these things because they have not been taught that these beings do not exsist and tend to see them more, while adults tend to think they are seeing things or do not believe what they are seeing. The power of belief helps you see what is really there.

To a certain degree I may say that is true, though I don't trust my young memories as many of those are often fabricated, sadly.  However, I say not that the older do not always see the things, but rather that they trust the "truth" more.  Whether or not the mental or physical vision is correct is not important, more that adults trust the latter while children trust the former.  That is also why you get so many very young teenager claiming to see all sorts of things that most likely do not exist.  They trust that "mental sight" or "feeling from the heart" to a fault just as adults trust their physical sight.

Personally, I believe you need to come to terms with both to have a better clue of what's going on.  Unfortunately, it often also causes a great deal of confusion and uneasiness while doing so.  Overall, however, I think the balance is truly key and one cannot be ignored for the other as both may hold a measure of truth.

I saw them physically there. I never touched them (don't really know that I could have). Mainly because I spent all my time trying to avoid them. Now I wouldn't do that but then I was terrified. I didn't understand and I hadn't told anyone so no one could really help me know that it was normal.

In that case I don't know how to give you much help there.  I always had the problem of mental vs. physical sight causing places, especially in the darkness.  However, my physical eyesight has never been able to see that sort of thing before.  Maybe you'll start having that happen again given your new experience, who knows?

I did the same as well, of course I played the part of the scared child with the black mist and tall man shadow upstairs. I would tell my mom to come upstairs or wait by the stairs until I came down. I told them I wanted to move out of the attic and get my own bright room to sleep in. (I had this one problem when I was little about when I woke up there would be this feeling of evil all around me, I'd run into my parents room and stay with them. This is when I was about 2-5 years old, but I always remember putting my shoes on in the stairs and there would be the shadow standing down looking at me with his hands on his hips.

One could always hope.
I used to have between five and seven. Five of them were regulars.
Did the shadow figure ever have any detailed features?
I had two shadows that were only shadows. I had one that had some features. Then the other two main ones were in complete detail.
I used to make my mum stay in the room with me. She couldn't understand why I wouldn't sleep.

It was saying, "Death is a temporary state." I don't know the language, but it seems to be based off of one of the Romance languages. As for what it is, it could be many things, so more detail would help, and for that, you need more incidents.

I usually have a basic feeling behind enities and people that I come across. I wouldn't say this one felt bad. It took me off guard but I didn't feel the need to get away from it.
If a new experience comes about I'll post it as soon as possible.

That was my first thought too. I've never had one that was able to breath on me before though and never have they actually spoken. Mainly they just stared at me or went on doing their own thing.

Ah i see, well, if i where you i would take it easy, as it doesnt seem it wants to harm you, and thats good, but if it start on doing something... harmfull, then you must get some proffesional help, but untill not it just seems like a depresses soul who haven't accepted death

Hi. Sorry it took me so long to get back here. I've caught something from a friend of mine. Some things really don't need to be shared. Oh well.
Hmm...yes, I suppose that's a good possibility.
Nothing much new going on in that area yet, just nightmares, but we'll see.

Could the nightmares be linked? What i mean is, could this spirit be trying to get into contact with you through another means? If ur conscious mind has been bloking these spirits for so long maybe it finds it easier to contact through ur subconcious.... I have no idea if this is right or not but thought id sugest just incase.

Are the nightmares reccuring or different, if there is similarity there could b a message behind it for you?

Some of the nightmares, yes I believe it is possible. Depends on what this is for sure and if the things I have heard are true. Others no. The ones recently have been one time things and they aren't related to something of this sort.

I think of Sojurn as to travel and the other word does seem close to the French word for death. Is someone or someone trying to warn you that a trip you are about to take is dangerous? That would be my guess and I'm just guessing. Too bad you didn't see this time, maybe it was a soldier who died taking a trip. Just ask that person if s/he is there for good purposes. Take care.

Hmm...yes, I shall look into that.
I think we may have actually figured out what it is. For the moment I'm am trying to make sure of that because part of me still dwells on the fact that it may not be. Still the one thing that we have come to a conclusion on for sure is that it means no one harm.
