Title: Requiring Assistance....
Post by: LunaElizabeth on May 09, 2008, 06:08:32 PM
This may sound quite unorthodox, but I feel as if I have been alive much longer than I actually have. When I see things (clips, movies, pictures, books, etc.) from years before my existance, I feel a strange tugging at my heart, it's the sort of feeling you get when you regret something, except ten times stronger. I believe in reincarnation, and I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me if this is indeed what I am experiencing.

It certainly sounds like it. Many people are remnants from past lives myself included. Its an interesting thing and exploring your former self may enrich your current life.

Thank you very much, now if only I could find a way to explore my former self....

Start by researching the era that most pulls you towards it. Imagine living a life then, watch some movies based on the time frame, read books, get in touch with it. Then other realizations will begin to follow once you have a connection with what your soul is comfortable with. Meditate on your former activities, what might have you done on a daily basis? what were your interests? usually these things are not too far from what you do or long to do now. Daily meditation is a must though. Once your identity begins to reveal itself you may get dreams, glimpses, of your former life. Don't fear these though some may not always be very nice, but explore them. You might try lucid dreaming, but it doesn't help too much when you are trying to unsupress former lives I've found. Do a little research on the area where you are drawn to and see if anything becomes familiar. I discovered that my past life I was a blacksmith In colonial Virginia  but I was drowned in a boating "accident"  for suspected vampirism, sorcery, and other things. Which doesn't surprise me hehe. But I lived a rich life for a blacksmith and had many travels, alot of which I am still discovering. Yours may or may not go back as faras mine or it may go farther. Everyone is different and its an exciting trip to take into the hidden recesses of your soul. Need any help let me know and I'll do the best I can. Good luck!
