I went to a priest with this question, a very unwise idea. He told me to drop the name and never speak of it again and so I did. I just embarressingly now realized that he stunted, or better yet retarded, my learning process. So I am going to ask you guys what your theories on this is, being that I could not puzzle this together myself.
To get back to what I'm talking about, it seems it was a name of something. Back in the day, I did things foolish enough with a few friends of mine to try and get demons drawn to us, almost as companions or another "core" to relate to. I understand the foolish of doing such dangerous things, so let's not dwell upon lectures for now. Anyway, this name came to me during one of my meditations searching for such a being. The name shot through the darkness like a beam of light. The name came straight to mind, clear and resonating over and over. The name I shall avoid posting on it for keepsake and perhaps safety.
The name, when said, feels extremely powerful. I feel a sweep of power anytime I repeat it in my mind or especially when I utter it with words. I looked up all the demons and none of the name of such. I am at a loss of what this powerful creature is. And I wonder why it called to me so clearly. I know it still is hidden somewhere, waiting to be called upon again.
I'm pretty sure it's not my imagination because it spooked me enough (and yet fascinated me) to stop the search all together. However, it may have been haulted on the fact of my deep trust of priests. But I have grown from being so closed-minded to the beliefs of a Catholic. There is much, much more that this faith denies. So, I am going to question that name again and perhaps even vocalize it.
I feel like you guys can shed some light upon this with a congathering of theories, so let's hear it. 8-)

Never assume any thing.
The being may not be powerful, and yet you may be granting it power by saying its name. If thats true, then were farked! lol! Nah, I wouldn't say it was a demon until I had further proof, although it does sound like one, the only problem is, you got a name. A true name's name is its very existance, know the name, control the demon, that is if you utalize the name on deeper levels, but believe me, those deeper levels are actually quite shallow to get to, thats why names are very hard to get.
It also sounds like you are being bated. Some being cast a line by sending you a name, and now your caught, you seem to want to research it now, thus it is born again. Now I am not saying don't research it, in fact, I think you should, 100%. Despite what any one else says about just dropping it, ignorance just farking sucks, and if your like me, the wonder will kill you. Dive into Pandora's box.
This also doesn't have to be evil. You got a lot of holes kid, its like swiss cheese, there are several possibilities.
Remember one of my old advices? Make as many supernatural friends as possible if you want to survive doing what you do. This could be also a potiential ally, don't turn it down just because you were trying to summon a demon and he appeared, it may have done it for that very reason, to maybe supply some help.
So many possibilities, need to learn to hone in on the little details, observe every thing.

Tybalt makes a good point. The name may have come up at that time as a protective warning. It may be that that id a being you need to know more about. Since you are aware of the mistakes you made, you re ahead of the game so to speak. Try to find "safer" ways to investigate this being. Maybe while you are meditating be sure to put up a protective circle & perhaps ask for a clue to the being's purpose. Just an idea. Just don't let this become a focus in your life, that adds to any power this thing my be seeking.

Your all about the rituals aren't you. Thats got to be the hundredth time I heard you say put up some circle of some thing, lol.
A protective circle may not be bad, if your actions require you to be in one place.

But if its what i think it is. Then you should just go with it. Its a power of yours you should keep. As most people tend to ignore these sorta gifts and become.. well, just humans and live their Ant-like lives.
I wonder how many human warriors we have for the Great War. I guess around ... 5.000? Wow, how amazing. Maybe more, i hope. Also hope you know what i am talking about. Haha. hah.. ha...
We all have our special little powers. This, seems to be yours. And it seems to be so powerful even priests tell you to keep it silent?
Practice on your own, using it. It might save your life and others in the future.
Guess i will leave stories of Spiritual wars and Powers within humans as somewhat religious sci-fi for you all to become pretty shocked when time comes.

here is a little lesson about angel and demon names (more along the lines of the fallen angels). All the names before being translated into different languages in Hebrew and aramaic are alined with a supream name. There are 72 higher angels (and fallen angels) that have letters given to them for their own name that lines up with some theories say God's name and others say the highest angel of all the angels. So when a person calls upon a real angel (or fallen angels) name it has power in it. That is why there was a sect where people use to be able to call upon the angels when they needed assistance (magick). It is in Enoc that tells us about this. That man was given power in weapondry to hunt but used it for killing and war and that women were taught magick and herbry to heal and make people better but used it for hurting people or influencing nature to gain what they wanted. So after that it was banned in the middle east to call upon angels/fallen angels to help a person. Each angel has specific qualities that makes its name powerful too. you get a certain feeling of power rush when you call upon it because your calling that angel or fallen angel to you. Use the name wisely though or it might anger it for just calling it for no reason to you.
If this is a specific demon name it may have been a fallen angel or a higher class demon so be careful. You got to remember your not just messing with an angel/fallen angels name your also messing with like I said eairler they still have debate about this if it is God's name or the Highest angels name.
