they are trying to test the big bang with a LHC....idoits
they even said themselves if it goes wrong....................booooooooom :-o ......bye bye world

First beam in the LHC - accelerating scienceGeneva, 10 September 2008. The first beam in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN1 was successfully steered around the full 27 kilometres of the world’s most powerful particle accelerator at 10h28 this morning. This historic event marks a key moment in the transition from over two decades of preparation to a new era of scientific discovery.“It’s a fantastic moment,” said LHC project leader Lyn Evans, “we can now look forward to a new era of understanding about the origins and evolution of the universe.”Starting up a major new particle accelerator takes much more than flipping a switch. Thousands of individual elements have to work in harmony, timings have to be synchronized to under a billionth of a second, and beams finer than a human hair have to be brought into head-on collision. Today’s success puts a tick next to the first of those steps, and over the next few weeks, as the LHC’s operators gain experience and confidence with the new machine, the machine’s acceleration systems will be brought into play, and the beams will be brought into collision to allow the research programme to begin.

ok still a bad idea

Not really....... they say it not strong enough to do anything catastrophic.............. if they are wrong.......... then.... bye bye world!

hahaha....yes byebye world hahaha

The big problem is that it might create thousands of tiny black holes. They have a theoretical radiation that should get rid of the black holes.
Key word, "Should."
If not, the black holes will gain mass and destroy the world.
Seems like it has enough power to me.

yaaaaa I am sooo happy
not on purpose
but I did call mr evans and told him what he was doing wrong
sooo I will get pleasure out of seeing humans die of their on cause

You might have a hard time escaping too if a black hole consumes the entire world.

Nope, they're worried it might not even have enough power for whatever they wanna use it for at this size. i guess size really does matter

child you haha dont know me, I wont have a slight problem of getting of this planet
oh ya and I checked the science the thing is big enough to make a big bang about the size of a shoe box but the problem is that will still make to much heat and that thing they have it in will not hold that heat
