Night Gallery
« on: August 11, 2005, 06:05:20 pm »
Anyone ever see this show?  NBC ran it in the late 1960's and Rod Serling created it.
It was to horror  what Twilight Zone was to Science Fiction.  It only ran for three seasons but it was great.
Season one is out on DVD and season two is supposed to be released soon.

There's a new station on our satellite that started a little bit ago called Chiller, it shows NightGallery, Tales from The Crypt, Werewolf: the series, American Gotchic etc...

I am not lucky enough to get "Chiller" cause my satelitte service is Dish Network

Now if they start airing Dark Shadows that might be enough to make me switch

Loved Night Gallery too

Night Gallery is on DVD, at least the first season.  They haven't released the other seasons yet.

The first season of NIGHT GALLERY on DVD is well worth getting, Amazon would probably be cheapest. I got it about 6 months ago, and while it's no TWILIGHT ZONE, it does have its moments. A solid series overall...

Also, I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of Ray Bradbury, but I give the man respect. You can get the complete series of The Ray Bradbury Theater on a 5 DVD set for like $30 bucks. Some gems in there...

Dark Shadows hasn't aired on Chiller as of yet, but I'm hoping...  Though I've heard that Johnny Depp recently stated that if a movie was made he wanted to play Barnabas.
I might have to buy Night Gallery, I enjoy watching it.
