Interesting enough I,ve come to love the Japanese culture. 

First before I begin with my ramblings I must explain what a Manga and Anime are.

Manga--Traditional Right-to-left black ink graphic novel or "comic book" for better understanding.

Anime--Tradition Japanese cartoon very unlike american cartoons, refined animation.

I perfer the Manga over the anime for the reason animes in america are mostly what is called "dubbed"(dubbed meaning, parts taken out of show, changing names, words, characters themselves.  example someones ciggerate is turned into a loolipop)

Mostly I,ll be doing something like working out, studying, or just anything and I will stop just to read one which is odd for my age I believe.

I would like to know others who share my like as well.

Let us start out with Fullmetal Alchemist since it seems to be known here. The Anime(which i believe was not dubbed as horribly for the late time it comes on) seems to have ended and a movie is coming correct? how would that work out for the manga i wonder?  and does anyone know of when this movie is coming out?

That is correct. I dont think it works exactly with the Manga, but it will have similar questions and answers. The movie will be dubbed and come out in September of this year. I, personally, CANT WAIT.

I am 1/4 Japanese, and some people worship me for it. 

I like anime/manga to an excetent, but I really hate it when they make Star Wars, Harry Potter, and other things into anime. It makes me angry.

Just please do me a favor and don't use it as any sort of reference for stuff discussed on this site. There have already been a couple of discussions in the mythology section in which someone confused the Japanese corruption of a myth (a type of dragon) for the proper myth. For example, if some one asked, "Who is Virgil?" and the reply was "Dante's half-brother" I would be inclined to become upset.

Over all I just think its dumb, but I'll be the first to admit I still enjoy some of the shows (Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Inuyasha). I just get bored with the plots so quickly that I can't ever get into the shows.

Cowboy Bebop is pretty awesome, but I believe the series was based off a crappy movie or video game.

Believe me man I keep these two things seperate. Those people annoy the hell out of me specially If your trying to get facts straight. This is also a reason I made this topic to discuss it here.

I can,t put much up for anime on this but manga you read.  So I would say they could help readers who have a hard time reading?

Outlaw Star was great but was very short (1 season I believe?) Around the time Adult Swim finished the series they lost the rights to show it.  Inuyasha......I,d say it would be better off if they did not have all the filler episodes.  My girlfriend personally like Inuyasha but I think its way to long not to mention If you buy the manga, the manga series is 42? books long which means your spending over $400 dollars US money.

I,ve never heard of a star wars manga or harry potter manga are they not here in the US yet?  I,ve heard of a Devil May Cry manga which is based off a game...

GitS is pretty f-in awesome. The finale was great, in my opinion.

By the way, I was going back to my old roots to find out more info on FMA Movie and I would out that A) It will be out September 26 of this year and B) They are REALLY counting on this thing being hotter than hot.

Yeah if you ever want to read it I suggest to read the manga, for the anime is badly done but not as bad as One Piece which was taken apart.
