What signs of The End do you see?
« on: December 15, 2008, 02:02:24 AM »
This is the place to write about "the signs" of The End..... All things you see in your normal, everyday life, that you know/feel like the End of Days...

per example: the riots in Greece  :police: :

major of my city (Zagreb, Croatia) buying a special, nuclear safe vehicle  :spy: :

also, I dont believe in that kind of "change"...  <:smurf :

and to see this.... I mean, cmmon, you must admit its funny...  *<:)

If I may ask, what exactly is wrong with the American President-elect Barack Obama?

Yeah there idiots.....hehe. Um I see people getting more and more careless. You see more and more poor people on the streets and no one wants to help.....I do by the way. The economy is sooo bad. And now that Obama is president...even though he doesnt decide...That social health care thing. I may not like my foster dad but my foster mom is great.....and she will be out of a job. Thats the signs I see. And there are a
lot of stop signs around to its just that people run them.

Lets see;
Christian doomsday:
War: Middle East
Famine: Africa
Pestilence (sickness): Africa
Death: Just waiting for the nukes

Norse Doomsday:
Fimbulwinter(not sure about spelling, a thousand year long winter): Nukes, Meteors, or the coming ice age.

So basically if your christian you can expect it sometime between this generation or the generation after next, if you're a norse pagan could be in a thousand years, could be much much sooner. . .

The end of the world. Signs I see...It depends on what you consider the end. The end of YOUR world, or everybody's in general? If you take it to a personal level look at the economy. Where I live places that have been opened for years, since I can remember are now gone. Restaurants that I used to go to for special occasions, gone. Bills seem to be increasing. You go to the store and pay the same price for a smaller package of food. It's happened to me a few times, maybe you too. Companies cutting all kinds of corners and redesigning packages to "Save money" People everywhere are losing their jobs. The Government can spend 750 Billion dollars to bailout companies who finally fell victim to their own corruption, and the money just disappears and nobody knows where it went? The auto company begging for a bailout, even though sales are way down on everything. It really doesn't make sense to bail them out if they are making a product nobody is really buying, it is just delaying the inevitable in a sense. All those people were screwed over by the people incharge and their mismanagement of their companies. I see the end coming when people get trampled to death on Black Friday from people just trying to save a few dollars.

I see the end coming when lawmakers no longer have faith in their people to protect themselves from everyday life. The February 10th Law coming soon is evidence of this, and these new regulations will do too much damage to the small business, and it will make everybody buy "Government Approved" Items only. Instead of mandating that a label saying "This could contain lead, buy at your own risk" label, they take charge of everything with pages and pages of legal jargon that basically says this... . I see the end coming when people keep falling for the same old lies of change and new direction. Obama's speeches were written by a 27 year old starbucks worker. And as soon as the election is over the first words most of us hear are "It's going to get worse before it gets better" That is how you know the election is officially over.

I see the common man afraid of their government in a world where everything can be used against him in a system so filled with corruption and malice towards anybody with a voice that dares speak out. I see the end when people are dragged off the streets in their own country, foreign or domestic and tortured for so called information of "Terror" acts and all basic right repealed. I see the end when anybody can turn anybody else in to "Homeland security" and cry terrorist, just because they don't like them, and the machine encourages you to do so.

I see the end of the world with the death of personal identity. Added to a database and becoming a number on a machine somewhere where everything you do is recorded for the purpose of security. Social Security is the aim above all else. I see the death of the spirit when it is crushed by the overwhelming methods made to save it.

I see the end of the world when celebrity break ups and sports events are more important then the signing of the North American Union Treaty, Everything is covered up, and everything is secret until there is nothing you can do about it. Humanity's best interests are what ever a small group of people says they are.

I see the end coming when people must choose between keeping themselves healthy and eating...or getting to work paying for gas and eating. Lately the price of oil has gone down ever since the resort of Dubai has opened. The connection was never made between the two, at least not in the mainstream, that is where all the money was going to build a billion dollar playground for the rich.

I see the end when out of 300 million americans, 2 million or more are jailed and the number is not going down anytime soon. America has become the world's largest jail, it's main purpose is to make people afraid. I see the end coming when you look and you see that both "Political" parties are funded by the same people just pretending to be different enough for people to take sides and believe things are not the way they really are.

Nothing is as it supposed to be. Nothing is right in the world and the wrong things are happening to the wrong people. The criminals are getting away murder, and worse we let them do it everyday. We let them get away with it because we live in apathy, fear..and we believe that somehow somebody someday..will do something to change all of this, to set things right. So we do nothing but write letters to people who don't care and tread carefully to not break the newest so called "Law" set to protect us from ourselves apparently.

I see the end, everywhere I look. The hour is growing late, if you know what I mean.

But I am not really afraid of it. Constant war on every possible bad thing there is, food shortages around the world and failing economies everywhere...but the rich stay rich....what is there really to be afraid of?...If you want change. Start changing and worry about the result of your actions when you get there with a well planned out strategy to take out any obstacles that might come up!

Very good, Zodiac, I see you have been thinking a lot about it.

What do you think about ordinary people around you, are they used to being treated like this, or do you notice a rebellion in some?

Am i the only one that's noticed that there are a lot more planes falling out of the sky?
Or am i just paying more attention to the news.

Another is the slow depressive state that our lives seem to be getting into, the economy is falling ever more. I see another depression in our lives.

There is another world inside of me that you may never see and part of me is fighting this....yet part of me is gone.

A majority of those planes have had some kind of damage done to them or errors while they were manufactured that have caused crashes. The ones that haven't have usually been attributed to human error or natural phenomenon (e.x. birds getting stuck in the engines, etc)

My personal opinion is most of the airlines are too cheap to go the extra mile to protect their customers, and will suffer for it later. I don't think that it's anything particularly strange, but it is something that's good for people to pay attention to.

As for the depressive mood, that tends to happen naturally every so many years. I wouldn't worry too much unless things get too out of hand, but with the ideas proposed to fix it, I'll admit I'm a little anxious to just write this one off.
