hello monstrous brothers and sisters. first off, yes, i'm breaking the mold. i'm a werewolf, and i'm very close with a vampire. i would even go so far as to consider her my family. taht has never happened to me outside of the vampires i know from here and her. anyway, she has been extremely angry lately, to the point of self mutilation, ironically to try and keep herself from doing something stupid. i'm not afraid of her because i know she would never attack me, and even if she did, though i wouldn't hit a girl, vamp or not, i would end it quickly. i''m mainly concerned for the safety of others. this girl is usually the sweetest person you could ever meet, but when she gets angry, you don't want to tangle with her. even i would think twice before messing with her when she gets angry. now, i wanna open this up to everyone, and if any admins or vampires have advice, it would be greatly appreciated. how do you help someone like this through whatever is pissing them off without hurting yourself, them, or the people in the general vicinity? any advice would be great.

So many issues... and I'm too lazy right now to separate them all out... but, here goes.

1. Extreme anger
2. Self-Mutilation
3. Belief that item #2 is in effort to prevent or avert (attempted)suicide
4. Belief in lack of intent or capacity to harm poster
5. Concern for others despite item #4
6. Admission that subject's anger is great enough to cause poster concern for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

So, now that I've broken it down in a manner that is easier to see... can you see why you need to get this person some help? As a child yourself, you are not qualified to give this girl the help she needs. Obviously, something is not right. You have not mentioned whether or not she is a Sanguinarian, or a Psy, so I'm assuming she's a Sanguine. Is there a history of mental illness in the family, of hormonal problems? She needs a doctor to look over her physical health issues...

While I am loathe to consider this possibility... Is there a history of any kind of abuse? I have to ask you this because many times... a child, especially a girl, will act out violently, including self-mutilation, when there is abuse, especially of a sexual nature. It need not be perpetrated by a family member either, but the possibility is there... The statistics for abuse of children are bad enough, but the ones for sexual abuse of young girls are terrifying...

Bottom line - if you care for her - get her help... soon.

Could just be a standard teen cry for attention. Doesnt need to be supernatural. Goin in a supernatural direction, some psychic vampires can feed off emotion, needing the emotions directed towards them if theyre young, so, like most teens, they start crying out for attention in the rediculous self harming ways a teen or goth only know how, to take in the raw emotional energy.
