wasn't that Planet X Sedna? Then, after officially discovering it, they renamed it and named Nibiru Planet X? I always thought Sedna was Planet X...

thats something worth looking at

i heard about planet x supposably coming in 2001-2002 and it never did, so is it a true factor or id it just made up?

Yeh in 2001 the poles did switch and Nibiru was hanging around however that period was a quiet one and as the periods alternate between quiet and active, the next period kicking into full swing around 2012 will be active. This active period and the major solar flares the sun will be spitting out around the same time, is what will pose problems when Nibiru returns.

I'd like to know your sources on that. Nibiru isn't close to Earth and it wasn't in 2001 either, from what I heard. It's extremely far and coming toward Earth slowly, supposedly reaching us in 3 years. And the old Planet X, Sedna, was only discovered in 2003, that's when it was named. Then Nibiru was labeled Planet X, later to get it's other name(s). The poles didn't shift in 2001, or our ecosystem would be farked by now. 1. The sun would've hit us dead on during the shift and 2. the poles wouldn't be at the same place. And I think my compass is still working. The Equator would've shifted, too. And if the poles totally switched compasses would be pointing South, right? Those 2 points are limited by my knowledge, I don't know if they are true, but I really do want to know your sources on this, because I seriously doubt there was a pole shift in 2001.

Alright, been reading up on it and I apoligise for not specifying and being hard to understand.

It's the sun who goes through the 12 year cycle not Earth Kubesix. The earth's magnetic poles are actually estimated to flip every 30, 000 or so years. However the Sun, like earth, rotates on a slight angle, which causes irregular movement that eventually disrupts the surface. This disruption usually happens every 12 years or so. We have had an unusually quiet solar period up until early 2009, cycle 24, when sun spots started appearing again. Due to the period being unusually long (not by much), it's enough for scientists to be worried that another planetary body is influencing the cycle. This active cycle (unlike the one before which was abnormally quiet) is said to reach solar maximum in 2012.

Apparently also in 2012 (around December) we will be directly in line with the Galactic Equator compared to being above, as we were before. We've been drifting further towards the equator for a while. The problem with being at the precise center of the galazy is that there is maximum mass there.

Quote
More mass means more gravity. More gravity means more influence from those barycenters in our Sun. That means exponential increases in solar disruptions -- all coinciding on the same day.

Nibiru hasn't plunged back into deep space then come running back around for a second time, it's been hanging around. It was first spotted in late spring/summer of 2003 but they found a reddish chunk of rock in orbit around Pluto in 2001 that led them to believe there may be another planet. Mark Hazelwood and a few others thought it would arrive then but could not support their claims.

Strife, I'm not saying anything will truly happen just presenting information offered by the side that thinks something will. You are quite right and there is a possibility that it won't happen, there is also the possibility that it will.

Ah, much better :-D Thanks, Ryobi.

Yeah, and about the more mass = more gravity: Did you know there's a black hole int he center of every galaxy, ours included? And a black hole's a crazy amount of mass squished together, creating extreme amounts of gravity? If we get too close, we're in for some trouble.

Some people also think Nibiru is going to collide with us on 12/21/12

The Earth has been around for 4.6 billion years, and in that time frame it has been hit by astroids, planets, etc. The world isn't going anywhere, human civilization on the other hand.
And before you start to worry about the sun, we'll get eaten by a larger galaxy before the sun goes nova or into a red sun. So, yeah.

Imagine a black hole attracting another black hole... You get a swirling mass of disintegrating stars and the planet get's ripped to shreds before you even know it. After that, anything still remaining around that swirling madness is destroyed by what happens when two black holes merge: a gamma ray. That's a galaxy eating another one up.

About the asteroids and planets colliding with the Earth, did you know the Moon used to be one of them? It was a planet named Theia, a little smaller than the Mars we know, that crashed into the Earth and the Moon is basically what is left of it. It's just a theory, anyways, but it seems to make sense.

Technically, as long as the core of the earth remains intact and as hot as it ever was, then the world will survive nearly any disaster. Whatever is on the surface including the earths crust probably won't though... however in time the crust will be replaced as the outer layer of the core cools and hardens in order to protect the centre..

The milky way galaxy ate our original galaxy. That was a couple billion years ago, and the planet is still here, so yeah. Not a big deal, happens all the time.

Don't be so sure. It has been postulated that the Milky Way did in fact cannibalize another galaxy in the past, just as it will do the Magellanic Clouds in the future, and as Andromeda will do to us in many millions of years.

I think that there's a possibility that there could be something out there waiting to collide with our little chunk of rock, but I am also torn between two other theories:  I think that it's also possible that we could see either a surge in demonic activity, or an invasion from the great beyond.  I don't know which.

How many times can we tell you that we
Are not like you, we see right through
