Well, it'd certainly be more interesting if that's how things were. I guess some people are so bored with life, they convince themselves that this is how things are really done. It makes everything more simple and "black vs. white."

The show itself, from what I've seen, is fantastic.

I myself too vastly enjoy this show.  It has a great story line, the characters go through an evolving relationship everyone can follow and the most important part.  They have 90% of their crap correct.  You'll find no sparking vampires falling in love with teenage girls here.

Great show and thank goodness there is no wimpy sparkly vampires

And yes great sound tracks to boot

I like the show, and its lore is 50/50 as far as I've found. The only thing I don't like is that now people think they can ACTUALLY run around doing this crap  *<:) . Don't get me wrong each to his own but its tv.

it's not tv's fault if people can't distinguish reality from fantasy, but i agree.  i remember when charmed was big...a lot of witches suddenly popped up.

Just started to catch up on season 5.  Awesome, very Awesome.  There is one episode that I particularly enjoyed so far however.  You know the one.  It involved all of the lame ass LARPers.  Think the producer/director/writers are trying to tell to tell the audience something.

You know, it wouldn't be bad to write a little something up a la that episode so that "wannabe demon hunters" get a real taste of what's going on. The nice thing about the LARP episode was that it really showcased true emotions towards those who are easily influenced and obsessed with the media and want to make that media their reality, thanks to a certain appeal, no matter how dangerous it might be for them.

Ah, but Markus, season 5 is the best season! Oh, and this past season, a couple episodes ago, they completely made fun of twilight.

I have to say, I respect the entire production team behind this show. They know their stuff.

Now I have to go see the episode in which they berated twilight, it would make my day even more awesome-r than it already is :D     <^>

Right? Look it up, it's called: "Live Free and Twi-Hard." There've been some pretty damn funny ones this season.

One of my all-time favorites overall is the one Muerte mentioned, the LARP-ing one.
