Title: a question about spells
Post by: Darkheart on January 15, 2008, 06:51:53 PM
i don't realy have any experiance in magick so i would like to know if there is a good starter lvl 1 spell some one can give me.
and i would also like to know if i came across a spell to regain my lost precognition if that would be for self gain or not. plus if someone does give me a lvl 1 spell to try to also add the consiqences (can't spell) of that spell as a precaution. any help would be greatful.

First, there is no "lvl 1" spell. That sort of talk makes you sound like an RPG player. Second, I would suggest that you do a lot more research before you go trying to perform spells. Something in the way of twenty years ought to be sufficient for you to be ready to really begin to study in earnest. True magic is nothing like all of that Hollywood stuff you see thrown around out there. You must be responsible, and careful, as it is dangerous.

actually to be honest i do enjoy an rpg ocosionaly and i used the lvl 1 thing as kind of a way to symbolize that i'm a beginer.
so where do you suggest i go to further educate myself of magick??

No offense bub, but I really meant everything I said up there literally. There's a lot of books out there that can help you learn a few things, but there's a whole lot more out there that you'll never even come close to unless you take the time to learn the things that books can't teach you.

By the way, no, I will not illuminate that last part for you. That is among those things that you must learn for yourself.

Ok heres the thing. Majick is not a toy like RPG. It can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing and can hurt yourself or others. You will have to research the history of majick and majick itself before preforming any ceremonies or spells. I don't mean to be mean or anything I just don't want anyone to get hurt. I have had friends who didn't lisend to me and mess up things with it and ended up with letting spirits inside her house which i had to cleanse the house because of her misdeed.

Second if you want to know that stuff you have to look up the witches creed and understand and follow those simple rules, if you can then you should be ok.

Have fun researching. Blessed Be!

Agreeing with all... Take the way of an Alchemist... Read, Study and then read some more after all that then Live life and see where it leads you. If you are meant to use magick then the path will find you. If you are impatient then you have no right to use magick in any form.

ive been into demonology for quite a bit, read almost everything from the satanic book. but the worst part of creating a spell is how to counter it. can anyone helped me on creating a barrier of some sort, please contribute for a successful spell barrier, or what we occasionally say 'protection against spells'. ive been designing and redisigning my grimoires, i dont know why i always fail. i should look forward to what my eyes cannot see..  :?

One good thing to do when first starting magick is to keep a record of everything you do.  This way you can look at past experiences and reflect on them.  It also gives a feeling of progression of your magickal studies, this way you can try something like spells when you really feel ready.

You've got to be responsible with magick.  It's dangerous and, to be perfectly honest, usually unnecessary.  If you really want to do magick, why don't you research it yourself?  Learning magick is a journey.  And like any other journey, the trip is often greater than the destination.  In addition, if you rush into it without proper preparation, you'll end up with a demon or entity beat the living hell out of your mind, and you won't be able to beat it off.  And even if you can, you'll be permanently scarred.  Believe me, I know.
