Title: What causes zombification?
Post by: omnipotentoculus on February 05, 2006, 08:15:00 PM
There haven't been any posts in here since the Great Crash of a few weeks ago and I have a question.

What, exactly, causes zombification? Voodoo? A virus? demon possession? a curse from a necromancer? working in a cubical? some combination? Lemme know what y'all think.

Well, if you mean the aspect of mindlessness...the cubicle will do.

But in terms of voodoo, I believe I remember the procedure.  It involved the "doctor" applying some medicines containg local herbs but more importantly the venom from a local blowfish that would induce a temporary "dead" state.  Then after the funeral, the doctor would find the body and use the person who is then in a state comparable to hypnotic though far more susceptible.  Though, I do not know the exact mechanics or anymore details at the moment.

I saw one the Histroy Channel that a killer drilled a hole into a victims head and squirted some kind of poison into there brains and used them as zombiefied slaves, after a couple days or week he would kill them and eat them. o.O
