Title: Believing (Some odd experiences, give me opinions)
Post by: Dark Lord M on July 30, 2006, 11:39:28 AM
Over the past few days I've been having some weird happenings. Though they may be just coencidences I think they are odd. Things disappearing and reappearing, whispers and faint, tender, and gentle voices saying my name. Some weeks ago (I have posted this in "Have you seen one?") I saw a small little man sitting under a tree wearing a hat, old cloths, and a long beard. I observed him for 10-20 seconds, then with a twitch of the hands and nodding his head he turned to sticks and leaves. Another direct experiences are very vivid dreams of meeting graceful, beautiful women, ugly beast, and small men in whom are always trying to interact with me, and if this dream happens to be a nightmare they will protect me from whatever is trying to harm me. Ever since I have begun to believe in these creatures and research them I have not fallen ill, not even the slightest cold. (This has been almost a year, and no sickness. But its probably just be good health.) The latest dream I had was a semi nightmare, my friends and I were looking up images and things that were "cursed" and just read about them. In my dream that night a demonic serpent, or a dragon was attempting to attack and eat me (). When suddenly a tall and beautiful woman came from behind me and banished the beast. She did not seem evil, and did not seem good. But she came and saved me from this nightmare. The only way I can really describe her was Galadriel from LOTRs, she told me her name before she left and I cannot remember it, but it was a long one and very old fashioned. Also below my bedroom window appeared a Faery ring (No one else noticed but my dad.) and there had been no recent storms or anything. But when I came down that same day, it was gone. In my house I will see small light moving about the house, but I am the only one who sees them, they are normally in the corner of my eye, but sometimes I see them in full vision. They are normally bright yellow, sometimes dull pinkish red, and other times they are blue.

These have been very direct and not the least frightening, am I just seeing what I wish I could see or am I being visited by the Fair Folk? My friend and I (Psyia) had a discussion before we went to bed last night about Faeries. I told him that Faeries are starting to leave because of people not believing in them, but my theory is that as long as a person believes they will come to them. Like a small light in udder darkness. They won't have as much power as they did back then, but they will still be able to show themselves at points. So, my monstrous friends, what do you think? I do not want them to leave, but I just want to keep anything bad from happening.

(A part of me hopes I'm not going crazy. Don't be too harsh.)

anything's possible...i think you're correct about the "if people believe".  So if you have enough belief in them, why wouldn't they want to keep you safe?

After using DVs list of Faery Queens I stumbled apon this one.

_______
Donagh
Donagh, also called Onagh and Una, is the beautiful queen of the Daoine Sidhe fairies in western Ireland. Knockshegouna, in County Tipperary, is her fairy hill. Donagh is more beautiful than any mortal woman. She has long blonde hair and wears robes of silver gossamer that sparkle with drops of dew like diamonds. Yet her husband, the fairy king Finvarra or Finnbheara, is a cad who ceaselessly pursues human women.
_______

That sounds a lot like the women that helped me in my dreams, other research and other Faery enthusiast have told me they can enter dreams and they will most likely be around people that believe in them. So hurray for me. I'll continue to update this...

And yet more.

Finvarra - king of the Connaught Fairies. Onagh is his consort, supreme King and Queen of the Sidhe. He was famed for his benevolence toward humans.

Supreme King and queen. o_O

Here's some new stuff. Yesterday I printed out the Elvish Star and stuck in over my bed, thinking might have some better connection using it.

Quote from: faeryland
7 Pointed Star

Known as the Faerie or Elven Star, the 7 pointed star is one of the entrances to the Faerie Realm the gateway to the otherworld. Each point on the star represents a pathway, or the seven rays of manifestation of the Higher Self as follows:

1st: Power, Person Will and Deterimination

2nd: Unconditional Love, Wisdom, and Growth

3rd: Knowlege and Intelligence

4th: Harmony and Tranquility

5th: The Powers of the Mind and Science

6th: Devotion and Honesty

7th: Magick

After I put it on my bed. I put one of my red hats over it. The hat slowly began to lift off the star like someone was pushing it. I was reading one of my books while in the car after that. Faeries disliked red and prefered green. So I put a green hat over it and had no problems.

That night I went to bed and listened to my music. I had been listening to that track all day so I decided to switch. I took the covers off my head, took my head phones off, and looked around the room. I saw small moving objects moving about the end of the bed and near the closet and I heard whispers talking in some sort of langauge I could not understand. I had the feeling of a pressence, not totally good, but not bad. The feeling I have been having since the expierences started. I had woken up at exactly midnight to switch music and after midnight passed the whispers and figures dissapeared. I turned on the lights and there was nothing. I got a new CD and took the star off the top of my bed and set it on the otherside away from me.

I didn't realize you had such an active life with mystical folks. Your thoughts are quite interesting.
Have you sketched any of the ones you saw? I'd love to see what they look like.

I wonder, if it would be okay with the fae, if you asked them if you could take a picture of one and then some quick shots around your room.
Or, would it be an offense to them and a danger for you?

This is so intersting and scary too. I'd be in prayer constantly for a 'sign' they are 'safe' and not some clever demons.

I hope your journey continues to prosper in enlightment and fun too...

They normally catch me by surprise. Espicially when I don't have a camera. I could scetch them though. I just got to figure out how to scan. Wait, artpad! I'll post pics once I make them.
