Oh yeah, I saw an article about this thing a few days ago, the Goiath Frog. Yeah, it makes perfect sense tho me that something like this could exist, the reason though that it's not too common for frogs to be this big is that all animals have a size-efficiency curve, and this one is on the far end: it simply cannot be sustained in most places. I'm guessing it's endangered.... *looks it up* yep according to Wikipedia, its official status is "Endangered", and it's only found in a tiny part of Africa.

Would it be possible to breed them in captivity? It'd be a shame to let a species like that die out.
