  The above image is of the Demon FurFur.  While I know Demons are not apart of Cryptozoology, I could not help but notice the similarity of this demon and that of the Jersey Devils Appearance.  Coinsidence?  Anyone else think this may be a subject worthy of discussion?  Below are a few versions of teh Jersey Devil also.

Lady, there are actually earlier accounts of a creature similar to the Jersey Devil in Native American lore of the area. !735 was the beginning of the "Leed's Devil" story which some people believe is the origin of the Jersey Devil. Personally, I think the Devil has been around a lot longer & the Leed's story started from a deformed child being born to a woman who just happened to have already had 12 children & the 13th unlucky one was deformed which might lead people to call it a "demon" or "devil" child. Eventually Native Lore blended with Colonial superstition & the story we all know came to be. Just my thoughts.

Saw that in the wiki entry. But there also was the assumption that it was a single individual, which would give it a lifespan longer than most.

The real problem with sightings like these, are the scientific communities unwillingness to investigate the incident with an open mind.  :x
Why has it inevitably have to be a bear - or in this case alternately a human or a crane? Why don't begin with the given facts and draw conclusions from them?

  If the door to accepting things such as the Jersey Devil is opened than the fragile "Reality " that mankind had created will shatter into quite a few pieces.  No one is too willing to do such a thing.
