The stained glass angels sneer,
As my heart sheds a tear,
My blackened soul,
Darker than coal
Will never see God’s face
Falling from grace
My wings removed,
My heart abused
Beaten black and blue,
Through my love for you,
And as I cry,
I watch love die,
On demon wings you fly,
And I see the end is nigh
My Decent speeds up
My soul the clouds do cut,
From your face of stone no tears are shed,
Now all that was me is dead
