 Darkness surrounds me. I hear a voice, it beckons me. I go to it, the sweet sounds of the siren compel me closer. My next step catches nothing but air, I'm falling now. I hear the siren laughing now, as I fall through the fathomless pitts of darkness. Lead astray again, but the darkness wraps around me whispers to me. The darkness doesn't leave me, or lead me astray.

So many desires, all can be fulfilled. Except one, which isn't even a desire, but a need. One to never be fulfilled, the lips of the forsaken. Will never be touched again, pain is nothing compared to emptiness.

I look into her eyes, as her cool lips touch mine. I fall into the ocean of her eyes, as her lips become heated with passion. Only to have the spell broken, by the cold steel of the blade thrust into my chest. As darkness surrounds me, those eyes hold me spellbound again.

One day I awoke to this masquerade.
With everyone wearing masks in this giant parade.
I look in the mirror and see a crumbling facade.

 This was far and away my favorite. Very good.

 Some of the poems feel like they are unfinished, though. Are they, or is it just me?

These are the types that you write down in the middle of the night. So, yeah some seem unfinished because the thought wasn't completed.
