2010 with Shaman, Kiesha Crowther
« on: January 19, 2011, 04:54:21 AM »
Around the world, wisdom keepers are saying that 2010 is the year we need to "get it". The time has come for us to wake up to who we really are.

This is an evening with Wisdom Keeper/Shaman, Kiesha Crowther, "Little Grandmother". Recorded before a live audience at Santa Fe Soul, here is information that helps make sense of the time between now and 2012

Erm.... What? Did you mean 2011? Why is now the time to "get it"? What is "it"? Were the previous 200,000 years of human existence just practice up until now? And what do you mean you "feel like Truth"? Do you mean that you feel like the embodiment of the concept of truth? Cause that's a rather specific way to feel. I am not making fun here, maybe a little actually, but can you explain this further please?

Didnt ur parents teach u its not decent to make fun of people? Specially here at Monstrous, where its very easy to become a mock one day as well. Watch the video if u havent, and u will know what Im reffering to  In most of my first postings here (2007) you can find answers to that.

ok i watched the video but all she seems to talk about are very vague generalisations, 'look back to your ancestors,' sort of stuff.

It comes across as similar to a very bad tarot reading. 'You will have a wonderful time in 2012 if you wake up to all that you are'. Yeah yeah yeah.

Why dont many people actually start describing what this wonderful life actually is? You know describe it in fantastic detail if they have any experience of it.
Or actually tell us how to experience it ourselves? How about they write a travel guide, like other humans that have actually been places new.  If they are serious about transmitting their knowledge to us ignorant masses they should really start studying advertising. Learning how to comunicate in everyday language, even if she is talking about having 6 spontaenous orgasms at once sort of stuff. Describe what i will get when i buy your system sort of stuff. Her vague words make me want to poke her in the eye.

By taking the medecine show route she is selling candy to the half baked.

Come on keisha spit it out, will the earth move for you in 2012?
If so how, exactly?????????

Real gurus, shamen and other 'enlightened' almost never 'advertise' themselves. it is a tradition of secrecy and humility.

I agree with this statement completely.  All practitioners (true/serious practitioners) do so mainly for understanding.  While they sometimes take on apprentices they do not go about advertising their crafts to the public at large.  Those who do are normally nothing more than charlatans looking to turn a profit.  They are the ones who give the Occult a bad name.  Perchance I should put that sentiment into the "What pisses you off" Thread.....

She has a good message, nothing except that. A good message to humanity. It doesnt really matter if she aint a native, or if she is a lil blondie that prolly could host a cooking show or something like that. I never did claim she is my guru or anything like that, cause as admin said, true ones dont go on youtube in the first place.

There isnt any danger in her words, she aint leading a cult thats advertising raping dead virgins or s**t like that. Sad fact is, many out there need this sort of thing to keep going. Not all have access to Tibetan monks or a real shaman for that matter.

And yeah, LG, some more manners wouldnt hurt, i dotn call u names and i dont think a moderator should as well ;)

It is always interesting to hear what the (false) prophets say.  Thanks to share with us Nina - maybe we should open a thread about the gurus, they are somehow monstrous people after all  ;-)

I know you didnt mean any offence. No one else did either. But if you ever run into a Cherokee medicen man, dont call him a shaman or ya may have to walk home with a limp. Not because of magic, but because of a kick to the shin.lol.
