Need for a new eschatology

Eschatology (from the Greek ἔσχατος, Eschatos meaning "last" and -logy meaning "the study of") is a part of theology and philosophy concerned with the final events in the history of the world, or the ultimate destiny of humanity, commonly referred to as the end of the world.

Every religion has its eschatology and it is no wonder that most of them include monsters. It is why we believe at Monstrous that monsters will be eventually released when the End is coming. The purpose of this section is to gather all those concerned by the Apocalypse and design strategies for survival.  2012 is a popular date and it is only 4 years ahead .... Where do you think you will be in 2013 is a question that everybody should ask ....

Ahhh, Loki, you kick right where I like it.... 

I dont know where Ill be, but one thing is for sure, the best way to survive, or at least have best chance to, is learn the military guide front page to last.

Every ending brings a new beginning. I don't think anything will end the world...just a lot of climate change, people will either live with it and survive or they die.  I like the monster reference. It brings to mind the viking story about the end of the world. I have my own theory based on that one.

Let's face it. If the world ends we will all die. Hence the end of the world. If the universe decides to wipe us out then we are all screwed. The only hope is that we get wiped out in a religious style and not in a natural disaster. If it is religious then we have someone to fight. Be it the Antichrist or whichever creature that particular religion uses. Then we have something to fight against. We will all die but we could make one hell of a last stand. Cause if death is coming for me, I'm grabbing him by the nipples and ripping his tits off as I go screaming into the abyss.

there'd be a lot of fighting if the established government fell and general society broke down...or maybe i've been watching to many doomsday preppers episodes while living the country girl life?

Since lemuria there have always been survivors...the gods need us as much as we were designed to need them and humanity is one of the most ingenius designs created to date.

Perhaps what we really need is not a new eschatology, but a new outlook. Yes, it's 2012, and the world is supposed to end, but who says YOU will live to see it? YOUR world can end at any moment.
