I have been a satnist for a few months now and it is great if any of you have any questions that you would like answered i will answer them and christians i do not want here about how im wrong and such.

I share many of the same beliefs with Satanism, so I guess you could consider me as such, although I do not choose to label myself that way.
How is it possible that you have been a Satanist for a few months? According to the teachings of Dr. Anton LeVey, it is impossible to convert to Satanism because you have always held Satanic beliefs, you just haven't known what to call them.

I havent read the satanic bible to risky i live wth christians i have to keep it a secret and do not have much time to myself anymore but when i do i learn things new about satanism and i started going to websites about satanism and learning a few months ago tonight im going to try and astral project and i do not give satanist a bad name.

And you've earned the authority to do this, how?

Unknown - Before taking a label with such connotations onto yourself it may be a good idea to have a full understanding of what you are undertaking. My suggestion is to go ahead and get a copy of the Black Bible and read it when you can, truly contemplate what LeVey says. The path of the Satanist is no easier than any other belief system. In fact in some ways it is the most difficult. However, there are benefits to this path as well. For one, confidence in yourself, leadership skills, and other things that will allow you to interact with people in a way that places you in the advantagious position. As for the Christians around you; if they are true to their beliefs they will not judge you. If they do judge you, point out their shortcomings with their OWN faith. Tell them to perfect themselves before they try to perfect you, etc. Remember; this is YOUR belief, not theirs. They have no more right to trample on your beliefs because of the name applied to them, than you have to trample on theirs.
My family did know about me being a satanist as they saw something i said and threatened to make me leave the house forever but i played it off and now they think im a christian but secretly im still a satanist and forever will be i will read the satanic bible eventually i wish to also i know a lot about satanism ive read many things about from high preist and preistesses and have learned alot i would never stop being a satanist.

Just out of curiosity, why would you never stop being a Satanist?  What is it about the religion that attracts you to it so much?  Also, don't forget that your parents can look at all the sites you've been to if they know how.  If you're using a home computer to educate youself about Satanism and your parents disapprove, don't be suprised if they confront you again about it at some point.

Also, where have you gotten your information?  You said you learned them from High Preists and Preistesses, where was this?

Moloch,

Christianity has never been a religion of tolerance.   We are to proclaim the Truth no matter what happens to us.   You are correct however in saying that many Christians take this as a right to give a "my way or the high way" browbeating and that ain't so.  As for proof of this, one must look to the Gospels.  The only time Jesus became angry was when he was dealing with errant Jews.  He never yelled or screamed or browbeat or refused to relate or talk to repentant believers or non-believers.  He did call the non-repentant believers on the carpet and made them look foolish!   Long and short of it is, I will continue to witness to non-believers in the same way, loving and comassionate but straight foward and honest, like I have always done.  If someone claims to be a Christian here and then says things contradictory, I will address that problem.  Ask any of the few old timers here (Mr. Maggot, The_Seeker, Alexander) on my track record.

Krollusk,

I have earned nothing.  I am called to do this by God's Word.

Your attitude is the only thing they can't take from you.

Unfortunately, that's pretty true.  There are too many Christians who can quote the bible word for word without following its teachings.  Actually, I've heard a very effective method for dealing with Christians who just keep spewing quotes in order to convert others is to scream "Satan"(implying that their ability to continuously quote the bible without actually following what they say is much like the ability of the Devil to do so) and run away, but I've never tried this.  I guess that's the nice thing about college: the worst conversion problems you have are people passing out the New Testament for free, at least in my area.  Well, those people and the Doomsayers, but the Doomsayers are more amusing than anything else.

I personally know I don't follow everything that is set out in the Bible, simply because it feels too outdated, unfairly judgemental, and hypocritical to me after my Philosophy of Western Religions class, but I still keep some strong morals from my faith.  Despite my personal feelings towards  certain aspects the religion, I applaud those who are able to follow it well without sounding overly preachy (well, as much as can be avoided anyway), just as I applaud anyone who understands and follows their own personal religion well.

Zak, I have no need to ask them; I've seen it myself. I have met some folks like you who are good Christians and don't give the religion a bad name. However, the vast majority are liars and hypocrites. I refuse to associate myself with any organized religion because in the end nearly every person is just acting it out. Imagine that; RPG Christians? I mean no offense to you Zak, you are one of a very few that really does do everything they can to live up to the standards set forth in the Bible.

A former member used to call them Churchians.  They go to church and that's about it.  I understand what you are saying.
