My mum is psychic and has psychic dreams and visions every now and again whether it is because someone is going to be hit by a vehicle or someone in the family is close to passing away...she has them..
Her dad when he was alive was much more psychic then her...he had visions and dreams and was the only survivor out of 200 something soldiers on his boat in WW2, the HMS BlueBell..he survived hours in the very cold water and was saved by some men in a rowing boat who should not have picked him up, it was amazing he survived...
He had also dreamt the night before Princess Diana died that she would die...
Well anyone, I don't really get any dreams...more thoughts...gut feeling, instincts...and these gut feelings and instincts always are right, when I have a bad feeling about something, its always correct..so in future I shall listen to my instincts..
I also hear voices call me at times and do see shadowy figures out of the corner of my eye at times..
I have also seen a black cat at my grans (wasn't anything there) and felt things before..

Could I be psychic like my mum is?
Even if it is a very weak psychic ability..

We are all psychic in some way, some of us born a little more ahead than others. Really, all you have to do is exercise this gift and it will grow into something strong. I could post some links if you would like...

Oh yes, well I realise that....but some people seem to have them without having to learn to make the ability better...

Being psychic is just like any other talent, some pick it up better than others. Just like some people can run faster than others or  pick up the piano better than others.

Phantom X is right of course. Practice with your abilities and make them stronger, and you will probably be amazed at what you can accomplish.

As someone who also has good "gut instincts" you can take it from me that it's usually a good idea to trust them.  You can occasionally be wrong, but the more you follow them the more accurate they become or at least they have for me.  Of course, I think mine is merely that, instinct, but it sounds like you have a lot more on your plate.  Keep working with it until you can take absolute confidence in what you are and what your abilities are.  Time and practice makes perfect...or at least better.

OMG!! .. I sware I have the same story, however the only thing that is different is your mother's dad story.I sware I am not lying its as if I am talking about my self!!
Maybe we could discuss psi together sometime.
