You are correct IMO Iris I also found the so called chic magnet annoying
I did like Amanda Tapping in the show, she appeared to be more interested in what was going on compared to the chic magnet

Ghost Hunters International is pretty good.. I'd love it better with Jason and Grant though. I know, the places are beautiful..this past season they've done 3 episodes that are about 5 minutes away from my house. Well, 2 of the locations are 5 minutes away.. and the other one is about a half an hour. The first episode of the season was in Buffalo.. and the train station..also the the Marjim Manor.

I enjoy watching the Ghost Hunters series. However, I can't be too impressed with the big finale. They promote the live show to death. Can you imagine if nothing happened the entire show? Parts of the show are probably going to be put on to insure that the show doesn't turn out to be a complete bust.

They did promote the live show a little too much. Grant actually addressed that in his blog on myspace. The cross promoting was done by Sci-Fi which didn't given the team much say in what they should or shouldn't do. Sometimes nothing does happen-and I've seen episodes where they make sure we know that. That's why I like them-they stick to the facts and don't fabricate stories.
Now, Paranormal State-I liked that show when it first came out but, oh, boy that show has created more fabrications than I care to stand. They have made a mockery of the paranormal realm..it is really upsetting when I watch that.
I'm also becoming a fan of the show Ghost Adventures-it's three guys who do majority of the camera work and lock themselves in haunted location from dusk till dawn. They're so energetic-I love watching them.

I LOOOVE TAPS!! Has anyone seen that episode where something kept grabbing the collar of Grant's jacket?? That was messed up. I like GHI too, but TAPS is far and away my favorite.

I liked the episode with meatloaf where the water bottle moved as a sign ...of course the window that was closed next to where bottle was placed was open in the scene when they discovered it moved to the back of the toilet
....many are convinced that TAPS employs cheap parlor hoaxes utilizing fishing line in the case of the collar tug and the Light house rocking chair incident...there is a substantial body of evidence to support this, but Ill reserve commentary

I can see how people would think that. I don't believe it though.

you don't believe it or don't
want
to believe it?...
I could of I course show you a video of kids recreating the infamous jacket tug hoax and a myriad of other mitigating factors that contributes to this but again; I'll reserve commentary...
what you need to remember is that this is intended as entertainment and should not under any circumstance be construed as actual paranormal research/investigation and teams that operative under the auspices of the TAPS Family banner should be afforded even less credibility (JMO).....b
edit: I only bring this up because I feel that it is for good of the community as a whole ...

For the love of Pete, I'd hope a group of kids could recreate that! My three year old niece could recreated that! What's this "you don't want to believe" crap? I'm not a child that doesn't recognize my own emotions. I either believe or I do not. I've come across a lot of people and a lot of 'paranormal' shows. I believe TAPS. And you aren't reserving 'commentary' when you keep posting an opposing opinion. And what you need to know, Barek, is that this thread is for fans of the show. We don't trash your pictures, so why trash something we like?
