Faery Board
« on: September 06, 2009, 01:59:45 pm »
I was on yahoo answers and someone said something about a Faery board, which is a lot like an Ouija board but its a smaller good form. He said that you can talk to fairies through it, but when I asked him to tell me more about it he didn't reply. Can someone tell me exactly whats a fairy board, or tell me where to buy one? Thanks  :-D

I've never heard even a hint of something like that. Are you sure the person wasn't just yanking your chain??

Naw, he also mentioned some stuff which I read in books, like putting thyme on a window to attract fairies. I could only find one board but its costs nearly two hundred dollars and I don't know if its a faery or an Ouija board.

I'm betting is a Ouija board. And be careful with those. You never know who made it or who 'blessed' it.

Here's a link to a site that claims it's a "Fairy Board" but it just looks like a rip off of a Ouija board.

Yep, thats the same one I saw. It has an elf star in the middle, but I think that its an Ouija board. I don't want to risk buying one of those.

You get different types of board. They are all your standard ouji board but with a different twist. In the end fairies are just thought to be forest/domestic spirits or sprites so as long as you follow the instuctions correctly you shouldnt have a probem. PS contrary to popular belief a ouji board isnt dangerous. People have had a scare with them but no real harm has ever come from one. Any one that says someone they know or a friend of a friend used one and got possessed and died is just telling a good old urban myth, attention seeking or just want people to believe that they can perform with the occult or supernatural just like on TV. Its bull.

A close friend of mine had one that was made and 'blessed' by a witch. Even when he tried to get rid of it, it came back to him. Would appear in the house the next day. He finally had to have the witch destroy it. They're not something I recommend f#cking with.

I have a hard time believing that, Kadesh... Every single thing I've heard about ouija boards have been the source of uncontrollable laughter... The stories are always so unbelievably stupid...

What I mean is this would've probably happened with any other object, it being a ouija board doesn't change a thing... in my opinion anyway.. I usually believe things that relate to spirits and magic, but when it comes to ouija... I just can't...

I'm not saying it happened just because it was a Ouija board. I'm just sharing the story. Personally, I don't like them. They trigger some unexplainable reaction in me. (Just like a movie I've posted about.) Maybe they really do work and it's a doorway that I fear.... I don't know.

I heard several stories about Ouija boards where they return to the owner. In one story someone threw their Ouija board away several times and each time it returned, in the end he just kept it. Some people think that ghosts cant harm people but they actually can. My grandmother used to live in a house built on a Muslim graveyard in India. Once at night a ghost tried to choke her but she was screaming so loud that everyone in the house came to her room, the ghost disappeared then. No one else entered that room again, every night there were sounds like a table being dragged across the floor but in the morning the table was in the same place. And my grandfather was traveling in a train in Bhutan and while walking threw the cars he met a ghost that carried a knife. It stabbed him in his stomach and disappeared. He still has that knife scar. Ghosts can harm people, that makes the Ouija board even more dangerous.

If a ghost wants to stab you then it will. With or without a board. Its a bit of would people. Nothing else. Its a keyboard for spirits. If it wanted to hurt you it wouldnt waste the energy moving the glass. It would just hurt you. It can do that without a board. All the board is is a list of letters, numbers and a yes and no so the ghost can talk back to you. The board doesnt assist in the ghosts attack. I think Aravalon just proved this as there were no mention of a board being used by either of your grandparents and the ghost still just spiritually kicked there asses. Its not even like the board attracts the spirits. You have to go to them or call them by other means.

Its natural for people to fear ouji boards. Many people do. Usualy its the urban myths freak them out as a kid and the fear just stays with you. I have a friend who is scared of EVP.

*<:) Sorry, but that's not me. It could be that the memory is so old and I was young enough, that it is residual. But I don't fear them just because they're Ouija boards. I've been around others and.. nada. It could just have been the right night, time, place, blah blah blah.
