Title: Theme Song
Post by: Ryobi on June 08, 2009, 11:53:43 PM
So I was thinking today, what theme song would you give Monstrous?

Due simply to the cheesyness I prescribe:

That's weird, because I can still access it using the link posted on this site... I'll put in another version of the video anyway then.

Does this one work?

Dear god, that is just awful!

Perhaps something with a little more darkness, more beauty, and a lot more monstrosity:

The 'statue' depicted in all of the poses and guises is Anna Varney Cantodea, the author and singer of the song.

Oh it was meant to be torture, another reason I had it as my choice.

I think most of the monstrosity in the piece you suggested actually just comes from the pictures used... It is a beautiful song though (very fine taste) and the lyrics are strangely fitting.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

The lyrics of the song speak of the emotional state of a vampire, psychic or sanguine. Hence the Monstrosity inherent in them.

Yes, that's why I said the lyrics are strangely fitting. But they're about monsters not 'monstrous' lyrics.

It's a good choice Moloch and if no one else answers, then the title does go to that song...

Unless there's a better one mentioned in this thread? http://www.monstrous.com/forum/index.php/topic,6580.0.html (http://www.monstrous.com/forum/index.php/topic,6580.0.html)

This is how I see 'Say it!' and 'Idle'... to a tee.

I don't really know about the rest of the site, however it definitely gets the debate, strange mood of the subforums and nearly complete lack of regard for anything but our own opinions down pat. I will be the violinist!

LYRICS

There's men, underground
Who have never seen the sun
But they really know how to party
Little men from underground
Who have never seen the sun
But the really know how to party

[Chorus:]
They rise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing
And they fight and dance 'till the morning x3

Tables full, reindeer meat
And the camp fire shines and the brick walls are full candles
Tables full, wooden pints
They don't care about their sins
They just wanna get drunk and party

[Chorus]

Long war is now past
Only good men have lasted
They need women, meat, beer and rom
Fight battle full of blood no thoughts about god they just slaughtered killed and tormented
