MY HUSBAND GAVE ME AN iPOD FOR VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I am so thrilled and privileged to be leaping into the new millennium. It has taken me a while to learn to download music into it. I'm not very good at technology, but I'm getting the hang of it.

We collect albums, uh, CD's

and I think we're up to at least 800-900. (Now, kids: remember I'm 50 years old and we've been collecting for many years.) I've even got the original "Meet the Beatles" released here in the U.S. and the "Buckingham Nicks" albums.

Right now the iPod is playing Emmylou Harris singing "Tougher Than the Rest", written by Bruce Springsteen. I'm almost inclined to think her version is better than his.

Yep, it came by FedEx and I was the one who signed for it. It had his name on it and I never open his things, but he knew I would ask what was in it.
