I don't have cable, but I finally rented some of these, and I must say a few of them are quite good.. In particular "Cigarette Burns" from John Carpenter, "Dreams in the Witch-House" by Stuart Gordon, and "Pick Me Up" by Larry Cohen.. I'm going to check out some more tomorrow, but they are short, 1 hour episodes, with 2 on each disk.. Very stylish and enjoyable.. :-P

I have seen most of these except Sick Girl and Haekels Tale
(and have most of them)

I have seen up to episode 6 of season 2
What do you want, you moon-faced assassin of joy?

We walk in the dark places no others will enter. We stand on the bridge and no-one may pass. We live for the One, we die for the One

Quest

Some of them are very good, a few too over the edge for me.  Basically a good series.

I'm looking forward to Masters of Science Fiction, coming up on ABC.

I thought I had seen some hard core gore until I saw some of these

Overall a good series,  they did get too carried away on some of the episodes IMO

I know.  The DVD set contained the episode which even the cable channel wouldn't show.  Way too gory.

I seen "Imprint" and it was very gory, I could see why they did not air it

To be honest I'm surprised that episode got approved to be made by cable.

I just ordered that one the other day... Along with a movie that has been highly recommended to me called 'Ichi the killer'..... :-o

prezhorusin04

OK, I think some of you might enjoy 'Ichi the killer'.. It's like a crazy Japanese/horror version of 'Scarface'...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichi_the_Killer

It's gross, but not as gross as they make it out to be.....

prezhorusin04

Yeah, IMPRINT was disgusting, but great. A lot of psychological twists. From the same director who did 'Ichi the Killer'...

I see why it was banned and edited for cable..

Quest

Ichi the Killer's a new one to me.  I'll see if  can sample it.

One episode wasn't necessarily censored.  The channel just didn't air it.
