It's yalls' opinions of which I seek, so don't be afraid to come up and speak. I started thinking and would just like to hear, what you think of werewolves, to make my thoughts clear.

I think there is more to the "werewolf" origin than most these people understand.
They seem to follow a medieval christian superstitious idea on werewolves or a fantasy/anime idea on werewolves. Both of which are complete bulls**t.
The European "werewolf" was essentially much like the Native American Skinwalker.
They were the pre-christian European tribes of the Germanic/Norse. Warriors known as Berserk (the bear warriors) and the Ulfhednar (the wolf warriors and Ulfhedinn is the singular) they followed a similar shamanic path as the tribes of North America's skinwalkers.
They held a cultic and spiritual devotion and connection to the god Odin/Wotan/Wodanaz (same god just different spellings depending on where in Europe you were and what time period)
Entering into a battle trance from several different methods, changing them physically and mentally, they did not turn into some wolf like beast, but they did wear a wolf pelt over them (Ulfhedinn means "wolf hide" berserk means "bear skin/shirt") and acquired incredible strength, fighting skills, mental capabilities.
And this society was around for thousands of years, not just the viking age. And it was a very religious, shamanistic group of warriors. Not everyone could become one.
And as history proves, they were not a myth and were truly a existing type of warrior. The methods today still can be learned and many do.
When the last of the norther european pagan nations such as Scandinavia were christianised the kings and lords outlawed the Berserk/Ulfhlednar and other pagan/shamanistic practices of Europe's true self.
But if people want to continue to pursue their anime/fantasy new age version of a werewolf and role play, go ahead I guess.
I am fully aware and accepting of "spirit animals" and therianthropy, but I think most these kids don't understand that concept really.
