I already got that point. But I don't know how easy it could be considered. I mean, we are here discussing how wrong it would be to register and how most of the ones that have are most likely rp people. If one ever came up that was real, I don't think any of us would register. And those that aren't entirely sure would come here for advice, and we'd advise them not to. I'd like to think we're smart enough to know the right thing to do. And the ones that do register and end up being pursued, taken captive, experimented on, etc? Well, let's call that natural selection and move on.

Thats understandable, but what is there to say? I'll comply? I won't? In all honesty, if it ever came to something like that, of course I'd fight it. Hell, I'm 100% human, but I'd still fight it. But I think it best not to worry until that time nears, and that coming from me, Mr. Paranoia.

I'm not sure I would say that we should set an example, on what the right thing is. We all have to decide that for ourselves, but I sure hope that we can be a resource to see what the WRONG thing is. That is also a matter of individuals' perception, but we do not really know right and wrong, we only have a good guess.  I'm sure that not being sent to any possible concentration-camp-scenario would serve as a common interest. Therefore in avoiding that, our decisions became less wrong, or more beneficial, of a series of decisions.
I do not like using right or wrong, because I have absolutely no idea how these concepts should be defined. I try like everyone else, but I am willing to admit I might be wrong, I hope that is enough for learning.

Anyway that is off topic.

Let's say this registration is real, or a "real" one arrives. Even if it is "real" who cares? What can a sheet of paper tell you, that you don't already know? What benefit does it have for you?  Many "real" applicants would use the sheets as toilet paper. There is no point that I can perceive.

Now let's say we all do it anyway, for whatever possible gain. It is a giant government conspiracy. The government would have to devise a test to determine the "real" from the "fake". The government would need a reason to do this in the first place, whether it be fear or maybe power hungry.
Most of us probably would not do much until it got to that point, simply do to improbability. But if the knock comes on my door, I will demonstrate extreme reluctance.

We are in human bodies, we have to understand we are human. Our limitations are that of humans, we may have a perk but still it is limited. Plus fighting back only increases your value, or you as a threat.

Now this all came from, what seemed to be a joke. I apologize for the seriousness, but I must state this for the worst case scenario.

Even if the site is a joke, I do not trust it, but then again, I am paranoid...

 well there ya go there is no need to freak out about this
Get it straight everyone!!!

NOBODY has said they believed it to be true..... we ALL know it's fake. THAT is NOT the point.

Point is that people actually ARE prepared to register themselves as "freaks". Shows how easy it WOULD be for the authorities IF they want to find out.
well then either way easy or hard, the authorities could probably  find all of us and then track us all down then do the experiementing and all that whether we register that the dumb asses did or not  because couldn't the authority  hack into all our stuff like posts, emails, pms, etc, and take us down like that ?

And the ones that do register and end up being pursued, taken captive, experimented on, etc? Well, let's call that natural selection and move on.
*<:)  *<:)  its great to see your funny side once in a while  :-D

You probably classify this as ancient history, but.....

During the 50's (I think) a guy named McCarthy was the leader for a massive campaign to out communists in the US. He had a LONG list of names. People that were branded as communists on the slightest suspicion. The ones that didn't confess and apologize were blocked from working in their professions. They were also supposed to give up the names of friends and associates that also were communists.

Same methods as the infamous witch hunters used during the Middle Age actually - minus the physical torture.

Point is..... it will not end with the ones that register..... it will spread to their family and friends..... and to their friends..... and so on.....

It has happened before - and it sure will happen again.
So maybe this could be a start of WWIII ?

If something like this would happen how would you fight it?

I heard that McCarthy never showed that list to anyone, so it could have been a lie to get power.
