Hey im starting a thread about how to become a werewolf i'd like to know anything and everything so lets get this thing rolling.

Unfourtunately, to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to "become" a Were...

And yes I am a Were myself...I'm an Arctic Wolf Were...

There is a potion some used to take to become a were..... but its really poison and it drives you insane, makes your gums pull back away from your teeth which makes the teeth look longer, and youll stop shaving because you forget how and become hairy.  This sounds like a joke but Im not kidding.

Its probably better that people cant become weres by choice. Many times people think they want something untill they get it, then its too late.

But acording to folklore, a curse. a pact with the devil, to be the thirteenth child...... or was it eleventh... I get that one mixed up. And ofcourse the imfamous bite, which wasnt actually a part of folklore until the fiction writer entered it in. In fact there are so many legends from every corner of the world about how to become a were I cant remember them all.

Just like there are dozens to hundreds of Myths and Theories on how to become something "supernatural", there are also dozens of variations of it.
Regarding numbers and whatnot, the one I know the most is the Seventh Son.
But not the Seventh Daughter.
Meaning, you can have Six Daughters, and One Son, and as long as that Son was born after the Six Daughters, He will be a Werewolf.

There is an idea, one that has been pointed out to me countless times by my students and family...
It's that whole, Power of Thought thing that I really enjoy going over.
Other than just Moving my Mind and Spirit into a Wolf's ( or Tree, or Slug, or whatever you want I guess ) Body...
There is an idea, that you can simply... Develop what amounts to be Therianthropy.

Before I go any further into that one, can you tell us why you want to know about this?
I mean, do you want to become a "Werewolf"?

Cool... Wolfie is second-born and he is still a Were *howls*...but Pat is the seventh child in my family and he is SOOOO not a Were or even a Therian, in any since! Looks like that myth is busted! (Yes, Wolfie is watching Mythbusters )

This is probably a little to late to join but o well. I agree with artic wolf. Its nothing you want for the rest of your life. Im one of the people who despise it. And the seventh son isnt true at all. From what i can tell there have been many weres on here that were born on a new moon. And i wouldnt try anything they say online on how to turn into a were. Most so called potions are poisons. Like what artic wolf said.

Werewolves are only mythological creatures.  They are not likely to be real.
