One Million Dollars

What if you won a million dollars, what would you do 1st?

I would buy all my family and friends huge fancy houses. I would give money to charity. I would do a lot of traveling. I would go on a Haunted Alton tour (cause I can NEVER afford it lol). I would take bass guitar lessons and acoustic guitar lessons. And there is probably more that I cannot think of right now, lol.

And you?

Bisk:
I would buy a plot of land in northern sweden and build a almost village of houses for all my family to live in, since we're all spread about the world it would be nice for us to unite in one place. We're English but my other half is a Swede and sweden rocks!
Other than that I'd pay off my student debts lol

:)

A million dollars? Chicken feed in 2012 =(

Thats about GB £600,000. In terms of property it wouldn't buy much in England. I think I'd probably move back to Canada and use the loose change left over to send everyone I know a "Here is my new address" card.

Now, if you had said THIRTEEN million dollars, I would buy Mamhead House.

For any who are interested, you actually can win 1 million.

This kind of stuff boggles my mind:
1.3 How many people have applied for the Challenge?

Between 1964 and 1982, Randi declared that over 650 people had applied. Between 1997 and February 15, 2005, there had been a total of 360 official, notarized applications. Applications continue to pour in!

1.4 Has anyone ever gotten past the preliminary test?

No. Some people use this fact as a reason not to apply – and yet the protocol is never altered once the applicant agrees to it. In fact, we ask the applicant to design the test.

1.5 Has anyone taken the formal test?

No. Applicants must pass the preliminary test in order to move on to a formal test. So far, no one has ever performed the paranormal ability they claimed to have.

If paranormal powers are real, demonstrate them, and you can win 1 million dollars.  I would imagine that the overwhelming majority of the public would love an extra 1 million in their bank.  Stuff like this only strengthens my belief that there is nothing supernatural.

I would most likely invest it into some type of acreage with a small log cabin styled house on it.  Something simplistic ,but up to do date.  Some playing room to say for hunting and other outdoor excursions that I have time for!  Not something big and up scale.  I would probably save the rest for a rainy day.
