Serpant and the Rainbow

DrowningFaery:
I just realized I read the post wrong, but this is an excellent movie, being in the 90's or not should have no bearing. Some of the best horror flix I've ever seen are older. Bloody is not horror to me!

I'm an avid lover of all horro and have seen damn near every horror movie there is.
But this movie isn't all blood and guts, but it really messes with your mind.
I'll give a brief overview:
The main character is somehow injected with something that makes him concious to feeling but nothing else. He is autopsied as is feeling everything but unable to scream.
Now, I haven't seen this movie for about 12 years, so I know I left out a lot, but I didn't exactly want to ruin the movie for you either.

Loki:
The serpent and the rainbow is a movie from Wes Craven with Bill Pulman that takes place in Haïti.

It is a jewel among the scrap from Mr Craven and IMO the best film ever about Voodoo
