Wondering about something that just happened to one of my freinds

I know this should go in the mayday section at least i think it should but its not urgent enough to do that ok so about five minutes ago one of my friends just told me that they are hearing noises specifically machines and people but nobody's around also there are no buildings nearby for all i know it is still going on its not urgent but help would be greatly appreciated actually now it just stopped
