Ok, I notice some assumptions here that do make me think of modern fiction cliché's here, but as Ryobi said (also: RYOBI!!!!! Long time no see :D) it might be Fae blood... I also wouldn't jump to the conclusion of it being any supernatural blood, you just might have a mutation in your blood that happens to make the healing process go faster... Licking the wound isn't a bad thing, because the saliva can help heal said wound faster, animals do it all the time, it makes the blood stoll quicker :)
