What's your favorite vampire movie after all ?

(1/10) > >>

Loki:
Now we all agree that Twilight is not a real vampire movie and that 30 Days of Night is just a horror movie, what vampire movie best express your feeling about the Vampire ?

As far as I am concerned, one that really impressed me at the time is The Hunger (Les prédateurs) with David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve. The second one is the first Nosferatu by Murnau with Max Schreck --- Amazing !

markus:
They all have their merits

One that comes to mind is 1931 Dracula with Bela Lugosi, after that the 1991 Dracula with Gary Oldman playing the part, sorry but IMO Gary Oldman is one of the best at playing villians

Muerte:
I'm going out on a limb, but hopefully the supposed upcomming move of "The Necroscope"  I was on Lumly's home page ( just happened to run across it actually ) and they are in the works for producing such an endeavor.  However, you know hollywood, they'll most likely butcher the story, and get it all bassackwards.

blow_fly:
Any word on who it's starring?

Loki:
Agree that Coppola's Dracula with Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins ... is a best time favorite.
