Title: Halo: Combat Evolved

So apparently the first Halo is getting redone, this time with the same engine as in Halo Reach. I have to say, the first Halo and Reach were the only ones I thoroughly enjoyed. So yeah, obviously I'm excited for it. Not much info to tell, but below is a link to an extremely small article about it. Mainly just states that it is in fact being done, and a possible time for release. So MONSTEROUS Gamers, what say ye?

i want to know who these "sources" are, the article states its no secret so who are they?  :gun:

I personally enjoy the first halo the most ,but I think what they are doing is not going to prosper at all well.

I could not care less for the halo reach graphics, I also did not enjoy the game much at all. I personally want the halo games to go back to the original.
Especially the health system with med kits.

If they just dress everything up, then it would not be a real remake either. So this may be a texture pack that they will integrate to the game somehow...

I am willing to give it a chance, but I am not holding my breath and I am indifferent at the moment about it going through or not.

They at least better keep the original voices... (Well so much for being indifferent about it)

So this is not just from one source, IGN is trust worthy ,but they are what you make of them.


So yeah, after about five minutes from my original comment, I am now kind of excited...

i feel this will repeat an alien: colonial marine.

it was announced, they began to advertise it then bam...

disappeared with no trace (i only mentioned this because it recently resurfaced).

i believe this wont be done because of situations similar to this one...
