Title: family history....does it matter?
Post by: bridigid on November 30, 2008, 07:14:02 PM
I was wondering if where your family was originally came (as far as you can track) plays a part in what you are aware of or can interact with.

My family came from roughly Dublin ...so, would I be more inclined to see certain kinds of....non human ______(you fill in the blank here)?

WHERE you come from doesn't matter so much as WHAT you're descended from, the 7th son of a 7th son is destined for a life of magical activity and descent from a psychic increases the chance of being psychic yourself, and of course diferent people have different beliefs and you're not very likely of encountering something you don't believe in, and even if you do encounter it the chance of recongnizing it as supernatural is low unless it's completely obvious. . .

Don't undervalue the stuborness of man. . .

me either...

I see mostly things identifiably from Ireland and Scotland myself

and I never can deny man's stubbornness, I look at myself everyday...

Hmmm, it depends on your definition of "where". I think that bloodlines do not play a certain role so much as the spirit your family raises you to have.

Of course, I might be wrong. :-P

I'm German and two types of Indian, not for sure wat types though. Well, I always have heard that Germans have a temper. My dad is the german in the family, and he has a temper, and so do I. I'm sure I'm bipolar, but I don't think my mom would take me to check.  :|
