  OK kiddies.  I am looking into buying one of these systems.  Give me the pros and cons of them both.  Tell me what you have experienced, what you like and what you don't.  You were my test audience (though you never knew it) and now I must start compiling the pertinent data.

360, vast internet community, HALO REACH, some games are cheaper, and when your controller goes dead, u dont have to sit on ur knees, 1 foot from the tv to play and charge, u put in new batteries. I pick XBOX 360

ahhh yes the age old question...

i personally have an xbox 360, although you have to pay for it the online play is far superior, on top of that the xbox exclusive games obliterate anything the ps3 has (uncharted dont count either, its tomb raider with a guy).

on the ps3 side of things i couldnt really tell you any good points really so ill leave that to somone else...

the bad points
xbox: tendency to break often (but covered by 3 year warrenty), warrenty on acillary products is 3 months, ruins disks if you change which way the xbox is laying whilst its on, microsoft has pathetic help services (im still waiting for them to verfiy me as the owner of my account after 3 years), must pay for xbox live.

ps3: blu-ray disks are made redundent (pm me to know why), easily breakable controllers, poor choice of exclusive games, ps3 move (need i say more), lot of ps3 exclusive games wind up being released on xbox anyway, unable to play ps2 games (except for those discontinued ps3s), more expencive than a 360.

Don't know what you decided on Muerte, but either one is a good choice. The 360 does have better features when it comes to online play, but the PS3 is the more capable machine. Both have their respective exclusives. In the end, your decision should have come down to a simple question. Whats more important to you? An easy interface with good online features (360), or a focus on singleplayer experience with enough focus on online to play good (PS3)? Personally, I went 360 for now. But I do plan on having the PS3 as well.

I have a 360, I like it and that's that. Of course I play ps3 too, but I don't own one. I think it's the elitism of them, or something, but doesn't stop me from playing it when the roommates aren't. But I always go back to my 360.

I like 360, but mine farked up before I had it a year, I know a bunch of other people who had the same problem. Ps3 rocks I think, and you dont have to buy all them damned batteries.
