The Age of Aquarius has long been anticipated by New Age enthusiasts all over the world.

The term “dawning Age of Aquarius” simply means leaving our current age and moving into a new one. This happens approximately every two thousand years, with the current age – the Age of Pisces – having begun at the birth of Christ. Those who study such ages are exuberant at the prospect of Aquarius, as they expect it to be a more joyful and fulfilling time than what has previously been experienced.

As this transition draws closer, the world is learning and becoming more aware about this unique period of time, which involves a much deeper history than what you may have heard about in a certain popular song years ago.

What Is the Age of Aquarius?
The Age of Aquarius is really a very simple concept, a marking of time as dictated by the New Age movement. The Age of Pisces has been marked by environmental destruction, famines, war and all different kinds of pain and suffering. However, New Agers believe there are signs in the stars that signify an impressive earthly renewal in our upcoming years.

The concept was a popular topic of conversation in the 1960s, when John F. Kennedy made a call for us to be unified and follow in the footsteps of such dreamers as Martin Luther King. New Agers believe in that promise of renewal, and claim that a reunification of spirits and humanity is still upheld by certain planetary cycles that support the prophecy. Many argue these space cycles can be analyzed and evidence can be yielded that points to a golden age of peace and understanding.
