Lol, dude. Anywho, to answer your question, I don't know too much about "chi" energy. I assume it is similar to the other oriental concept know as Chakra, so I guess I'd have to say "in a way". The brain is a very powerful tool; focus and concentration can do a lot more in the spiritual realm that most would think.

From what I understand, chi/prana is the energy, while meridians/chakras are the channels through which this energy flows. I could be wrong, however.

I have heard or read that chi energy or chakra energy can be used to sense demons as well as fight them.

I do not know how true that is but I am in the process of researching and I will let you know that I find out.

As far as the martial arts training I do understand the need to have physical strength, but I am kind of curious to understand the physical part of the demon hunt. 

Will there actually be physical fighting?

 I practice a form of angel magic so I am very aware of the arc angels and the one I call on the most of course is Micheal.

 I will continue my research on demonology although so far what I have found is a bunch of fiction nothing based in reality.

 I will go back and read some of the old post on this cite and try to gather some more information but I do thank everyone for their advice.

 I hope my typing is better this time as it seems people sort of had a problem with it before.

 I would like to continue to gather information so if anyone has anything else or knows of anyone that I may speak with please let me know.

Honestly, when you have formal martial arts training, these routines eventually become second nature, this is why styles like tai chi chuan give such great calm to thier practitioners, its meditation in motion. A sort of secondary focus for when your conscious mind gives. It reinforces your will like inorganic armor because it path has been paved by your practice and you don't build a road in the middle of battle.


i guess what i'm trying to say is, aside from the breathing techniques some styles give, it is away to keep your focus strong and your ego in check, while not shutting down your your emotions and drive.

hi i am new here but i have been searching the internet for what seems like an eternity for information on being a demon hunter at this point i am a practicing christian witch my specality is reading (tarot, angel cards, astrology, etc.) but i have had this feeling for a long time that i can do something more to help society it dawned on me that i want to be a demon hunter a spritual warrior getting rid of the evil in this world and sending the demons back to hell i know that this type of profession is dangerous and i will need alot of training i know this can''t happen overnite but i am ready to learn and to get started this is something i would like to do for the rest of my life along with my other magical duties i hope none here think i am crazy i have read some of the post and think that i am in the right spot to ask for this kind of information so if anyone could tell me how to become a demon hunter please let me know i am not under the illusion that it like the tv shows or something i know that this is a dirty dangerous job and that there is nothing glamourous about it but it something i feel i have been called to do i am not a phsyical fighter i don't know marshal arts or anything like that but i have faith in the magical power that god has blessed me with and my faith and anything else i am willing and ready to learn so if anyone knows anything please post at this point i am desperate and am thinking of just going out there and just jumping into this profession feet first and hope i land well now i dont if thats a stupid thing or if thats how all demon hunters get started i am just looking for a little knowledge can anyone help me thanks in advance

A Christian Witch? That is an oxymoron my dear. Magic comes from its dark master regardless of the label good or bad, as sure as a chicken lays an egg. If you are reading tarots and the like you are already on the path towards the thing you want to hunt. Dont worry witches naturally attract unclean spirits they will in time find you and likely make you a fun new toy. As well as this any real hunter knows it is completely impossible for a human to "slay" a demon, theyre spirit creatures they can be sent away but not killed and are extremely dangerous. Its best not to venture into thier territory. If you want to live anyway.... novices should stay clear this is not a came... you can end up dead or worse.....

In Nagt Jagter's defense, I fell compelled to point out that his comments, as heartless and judgemental as they might seem, simply mirror the traditional Christian stand on those who practice magic which does not seem to directly stem from the Christian god. The currently existing version of the Bible is quite explicit on this matter, stating that all witches must be stoned without exception.  Given that the majority of Christians regard this text as the ultimate authority on the nature of their god, his objections to cheza's claims are not entirely baseless.

However, with that said, it must be understood that as of yet, magic, demons and gods alike are purely abstact concepts with precious little in the way of hard proof to validate their existence. Is it possible to even hunt something that might be purely the product of a society's collective imagination? And does the same hold true with magic and gods? In light of this fact, all perspectives offered on this matter are equally plausible and impossible.

Your words on magic, demons, and gods are true, but the same, in my opinion, applies to justice; It all comes down to faith and point of view, doesn't it?

What defines Justice, then? Is it not as abstract a concept as the things we discuss here? Some might say that oen who steals deserves to have his hands cut off, and they say that is justice, yet others say that simply locking the thief away for a few years is justice. Some say the taking of life is never justified, yet others say that it is True Justice. Is it possible for us humans to perform an action that is only the product of the majority's collective imagination?

Even though our views may differ on these topics, there is nothing to say that it doesn't exist. In fact, the simple fact that people do believe in some other force and some other power should be enough to at least acknowledge the existence of such.

In conclusion, I find no real need to point out the lack of evidence on any subject here; especially taking into consideration the very title of this thread. Your skepticism is welcome, I suppose, but don't try and stir up doubt with a believer; it usually doesn't end well. Make your own thread for that.

i agree with him, for the christian witch statement, i've never ever felt that that those who worship a God that insists He's the only one that does any of that stuff, so why associate oneself with the very arts He condemned?

sure, the arguement that they "draw their power from God" is an excuse to justify they're in the free and clear, but if they draw the power from Adonai, why do they need the title of witch, isn't humble servent well enough?

moses was never a witch, noah, david or any of the other heroes and patriarchs ever claimed to derive their power from anything other than serving their Lord and the one that did go to a witch to get advice was defeated(solomon i believe)
