A lot were shocked by statement of dr. AL Shaheen, chief of archaeological department of University of Cairo when he said there is something alien in the pyramids. They believe it is something out of this World, but he didnt want to go into any details. When Polish archaeologist, dr. Marek Novak, asked a question on an archaeological conference, about  is there an alien technology or even an alien craft hidden in the pyramids, no one expected the answer.

 Dr. Shaheen responded: I cannot confirm or deny that in the pyramids is something that is not of this world!

Supposedly there is even documentation by KGB of a humanoid buried under one of the pyramid (in his own tomb) with even a space craft below it.

None taken. And true, there are better ancient aliens docs out there, I just found this one and found it interesting to share. There are A LOT of theories out there, internet is over loaded with those, lately more than ever. Although, I do believe pyramids hold alien secrets. Many of the artifacts that were found are "lost", "stolen" after they came to British Museum, and personally I think that some of those could point us to some truth that has been hidden. Same goes to Vatican treasury. Heh.

I would like to state that Egypt just didn't emerge out of nothing. It was a series of local agricultural farmers that emerged into trading ports and city states eventually becoming united later in history. I would also like to point out that when they say Egypt just showed up fully formed it did not, archaeologists have proof of Egyptians taking a few thousand years after the ice age to form the societies that emerged. Also there is such a focus on Egypt when they should look at the Sumerians, Akkadians, First Babylonians, and Hittites. They also had grand structures, sadly most of it was destroyed in recent wars and the British exoticised Egypt as the center of civilization but there were many centers. Look at the Indus Valley region alien "Experts" for all the wonderful things produced from them and the stories that emerge. They are the first culture to actually say and recognize other dimentions and worlds. So why do we still look towards Egypt? Because they have been exhaustively researched.

I do believe aliens exist, but I also don't doubt that human beings can create things beyond our capability. Alien theorists need to reevaluate their proposals before submitting them mainstream. It makes me sick as a historian to see the lack of belief in human beings today. Have we become so accustomed to having everything done for us that we don't believe we can physically do things that seem impossible.

Nothing is impossible. And like Alice said, "I like to think of 6 impossible things before breakfast." I think our society has issues and lacks responsibility.

The ancient alien theorists might have more pull on people if they didn't immediately jump to the conclusion that human's can't do anything of note on their own. It makes the rest of the people who believe look kinda crazy.

Under that line of thought, apparently ancient's didn't have geniuses who imagined a realistic way to make things that we find difficult. They were smart, dedicated, and had imagination. I'd believe they could do quite a bit.

Very true. To see that ancient Sumer had really well balanced culture and politics. Even today, the poor and less fortunate dont have such care. Every child was to be schooled, they had tones and tones of scriptures of history, religion, medicine, arts, astronomy.... you name it. They performed pretty complicated operations on the sick with success. Their agriculture was so well thought, that even on land that isnt very fertile they managed to produce enough. I too agree that we should have more faith in human beings. Among all the s**t, crisis, wars, illness, whatnot, we always manage to find some beauty and strive for peace and happiness.
