it depends on what religion you look at. i mean in my religion darkness was here befor the gods and was controld by Lord Sandralmen.   thats where i got the name from. and in the end all things will return to Sandralmen.    or you can look at darkness as a pysical object if that how you look at it the dark isn't owned we are by it

I do enjoy your philosophies Sandman. Your happy bunny outlook on life and death is refreshing. As for what would happen if the spear were in evil hands?....oh man this is gonna open a whole can of worms, but what the hell.

When Christ died he opened the door for us to reach the forbidden realm of heaven. Unitl then no one, no matter how loyal to God or how good of a person you were, could reach it. His blood covered our sins and thus even an "evil" person would be covered under this forgiveness and have the ability (not the right, pay attention) to get into heaven and to stand in the Light. As such, this covering of blood would allow someone to use the spear for evil because they are born of the new breed of forgiven humans. Now, know this: the spear will not guarantee total success. Look at hitler. Look farther back even at rome. It will not stand for abuse of its power. Each person is given a choice and when someone takes the spear to use it they have the choice to use it for good or evil. And they must be given time to make that choice as part of our gift of free will (which I have doubts about, but thats another discussion). So I guess you were right in a way Sandman. In the end it will be used for good. Whether for or against the wielder's will.

ah i disagree with you a bit.  from what i know the spear garantees the victory of a battle a single battle it does not help with wars b/c war is a series of many battles so if u do look at it it helped hittle but with one battle and in extrange for that one battle it caused hitler his life. he was smart enoughf to know what a single battle is.  its one fight. the garantee of on fight could mean nothing or it could mean everything. but it all depends on what fight   that is and what ur goals are. so the spear did what it was supposed to do for hitler hitler just underestimated the spears power

As mentioned before, one of the crystal skull recovered from one of Hitlers bunkers was called the "Spear of Destiny." The question that puzzles me is why give it such a name and the spere that they are referring to is not a spear but more like an orb?

So apparently from what I have read (Feel free to dispute me if you find something different) the lance is indeed broken into 3 parts. One would be the hilt, which is apparently in Rome under the Dome of Saint Peters. One would be most of the blade, not completely known where this is, and the tip of the blade, which broke off. There is no way to know where it actually is because there seems to be many different hypotheses and different stories on where it ended up. One thing that is common in all of them however is that any one part of the spear has great power, but when brought together it would change the world.
