it's sort of fun though when they see my pentacle and ask if i'm wiccan, and then i reply..."no, i'm a witch"  they look so puzzled.   0:)

Lollll! I know what you mean! Maybe because most of practitionners are Wiccans. Me well, like I once said, it's natural but I tend to study shamanism, druidism (wich is kinda normal considering my origins). When I mean study, I mean reading books, spells and I get inspired by them when I create a spell(when I feel the need to create one, in general just a look and concentration makes things happen). I mean it has to go with your beliefs!
