i think it'd be easier for me to comprehend if they offered a little more detail concerning the time periods of these discoveries...until i see something refuting the thought that our ancestors started out in the african type of continents, slowly moving up, leaving a trail of archeological evidence that's been found dating in succession from the very southern points of the earth up through the middle east, and then into europe.
the americas present some interesting difficulties however, it seems most of their, origins seem to run later years than those in the north and fragments found in the southern areas of the world.
i'll probably be snickered at, and this is in no way formed from anything scientific, but i could see the atlantean culture having some influence in what became modern man...at some point they had to flee their great world, being few in number, prehistoric man could have easily been compatible, this could explain why some of the greatest and earliest cultures are found in the various directions of the earth, it could also explain some of the curious items found in america, suggesting there were northern peoples here, interacting with the natives way before christopher columbus sailed the ocean blue.
this is another topic my friend would be perfect for, she's spent over a year reading everything she could about the atlantean myth, the origins of religion, and has now settled to writing elaborate stories set in egypt.
