werewolf v vampire who would win ?

they are both imortal and canot die so they would continuosly fight then when it became day the sun would come up the vaimpire would die and the werewolf would just turn normal

I am forced to say, werewolf.  It seems logical that a person in full werewolf form with the blood rage would easily destroy a vampire.

Werewolf, definitely.  Think about it, wolf vs. bat, who would win?  Wolf, duh.  And so in wolf-man vs. bat-man wolf-man (werewolf) would win.  I also agree with ronnoc3's reasons.  The werewolf could lour the Vampire outside and kill its weakened form easily!!

Hmmm, indeed I agree.  But how vulnerable is a vampire in daylight?  Is it that much of a difference in strength, I feel like such a neub for asking; but they could not posibly burst into flames?

Personally I think it depends on how the fight was carried out.  A Vampire that is stupid enough to get into a toe to toe mêlée with a werewolf deserves to be turned into chunky salsa.  But, I really don't think the average vamp is that dumb.   Now I am no expert but Weres are more brawn then brains and any Vampire worth his salt would use that against him with the use of traps and munchable minions.  Then, once his hirsute antagonist has been worn down he would swoop in for the kill.

I guess it would all realy depend the on the creature figthing. If the werewolf is dstrounger then it will win. If the Vampire is stronger then it will win. Not one creature is better then the other.

Hmmmmm, interesting.  I never thought of it that way before.  I suppose it would be like asking "who would win a white guy or a black guy", it just depends.

Its not like is always going to be stronger then another. If a werewolf in its human form works out ever day, and a vamp sits on its rear eating chips.... who do you think is going to win ?

I guess the question presumed two creatures in peak physical condition.

It isn't like a white guy and a black guy, because skin color/ ethnicity is not the same as supernatural ability.

I think the more important definition we need is to know whether or not we are dealing with Vampires and Werewolves as defined by Alexander and QrLG respectively, which are more mental entities; or if we are dealing with the mythological version of creatures that morph out and are allergic to garlic and silver.

Finally, you have to ask about wits. Supposedly when a Were morphs out (physically, that is) they sort of go primal, which inhibits creative thinking and planning, it is all instinct. If the battle was simply the two creatures standing there, toe to toe, bashing at each other till one fell, I would give it to the were. If the two were in the open, one chasing the other, I would give it to the Vamp, who has time to plan, hid, evade, make weapons, etc.

Omni has good points. So lets say. it is a physical battle. Both in top shape. silver, and garlic rules appay.. even though I hate the idea of movie rules applying.

Oh they're fun. This thread was obviously started in that spirit, so why not let it play out. Besides, what is more fun than pitting two mythological creatures against each other. It's like when people sit around and think about what super-hero would win if they fought.

If I had to pick a favorite, I'd go with the Werewolf. Vampires were always a little to moody and goth for me.
