Hello. :) I'm in the process of writing a story involving many types of monsters & creatures of myth (even though they're very real to me). What I want to know is the true abilities of those creatures especially vampires & werewolves (considering modern fiction has blown them in different directions of proportions). So far, I realize this will not be an easy task because some modern day facts have been mixed in with folklore. I appreciate whatever references you can give me on this topic. Btw, for a short list, here's what the story includes:

Vampires
Werewolves
Humans (of course)
Elves
Faires
Mermaids
Unicorns
Angels
Demons

Of course, this is a short list. If you would like to see a couple of intros into my full story, see them here: http://cloudpow.deviantart.com/art/Book-I-quot-Gallowsraven-quot-118639166 (vampires)

Thank you for reading this post & my stories. :D
