Why do we even bother?

Are we all just a bunch of dreamers hopeing we are something more than our own sad lives?

Play pretend, lets all run around and act like a bunch of animals.....Howl at the moon or stars, eat very underdone meat, and drink blood.

Try and suck the life force out of the living creatures around us, to make ourselves feel better.

I'm very angry with a skeptic and....i don't even know.

In the words of Katt Williams "Don't wait for the joke, the hater is the joke so laugh all you can." If something makes you happy, as long as it doesn't hurt you or anyone else, do it & enjoy it. If people dislike you or put you down for who you are then they are simply jealous that they don't have the guts to be who they really are.

I simply laugh at the ignorance of others. Otherkind DO exist - it's not even hidden all too much - just enough so that "normal" people can hide the rest with their ignorance. Don't bother with them; whatever they say is misconstrued. You should think it amusing how lost they are in their own world.
"We're all one race - human" ...Really?

I'm afraid that ''Otherkind'' do not feature prominently in the world of the much reviled skeptics on Monstrous. Even the most fanatical follower of these alternate sub-cultures as I deem them, must acknowledge that  with anything of an intangible nature, doubt is a perfectly rational response.  I for my part, will admit that given the rather mystical nature of the subject that you discuss, it is impossible for me to demonstrate by means of empirical research that Otherkin either do or do not exist.  With that said however, it is nevetheless absurd to expect someone like me to take at face value your claim that you are a wolf or demon masquerading as a human. If I were to tell you that I was some deity incarnate, your reaction would doubtlessly be the same.

I've never really been a skeptic of anything. I have had my doubts, but I'm over them. :-)  The most annoying skeptics to me are the ones who think everything has to be proven scientifically.
Insanity is a fun state of mind. I can amuse myself and have my friends wanting to get me a straight jacket and a padded room.

Yeah, i was just really angery and needed a vent.
Though i do agree with you blow_fly

Yes, they can be annoying and they can depress you, but skeptics really are a good thing: they give us a push to make sure we aren't fooling ourselves.  If you have a problem with a skeptic's skepticism, you should probably listen for a second and make sure they aren't right (after that though, it's ok to ignore them)

I'm a skeptic of everything.  As blowfly said, when someone says something that you don't already believe, it's rational behavior to question it.

I disagree, if science and reason have proven something to be impossible, it probably is.  We are not suddenly going to fly off into space because the four basic forces suddenly stop working, that is scientifically impossible.  Lots of people will say that "science disproves magic and religion so you can't believe in both," but that's not true because they don't, science has never put out anything saying that magic is impossible, nor religion, as it can not be scientifically tested.
