Paranormal Polka: these boots were made for haunting.

Greetings all  :)..

I'm going to jump in without protracted preamble and issue the simple statement that I am a sensitive, I am well aware of the mechanics of pariodelia, matrixing apophenia and pixelation ...
my methodology is simple ... as a sensitive I attempt to match visually what sense at the sites that I cover in Chicago land ...several are well known such as Bachelor's Grove, Resurrection (Mary) Cemetery's, Queen of Heaven ( an apparition site formally investigated by the Chicago Archdiocese in the mid 90's) and several others...
I do like replies but urge you to be a little patient with me as I am somewhat eccentric, but please don't dismiss my photos at cursory glance as there always end up being a few from each site that are of interest...

This site is located in the far west burbs and has established it's own notoriety from the Polka boots that are precariously placed in pairs along the landscaped cemetery border of this private section and the neighboring residential subdivision...
rumors of the boots moving overnight and the faint yet bombastic sounds of polka are alleged to emanate from the cemetery from an indeterminable direction and at varying intervals of volume and clarity ...
The hint of spring, the evanescence of winter and the jubilant, mid day sunshine seemed to set the mood here but there is also an effervescence that emanates from the "Polka Boot Estate" and pervades the entire site ...there is no sorrow there ....

here are the unedited (compressed) photos from today's visit 3-14-09 (87 total)....b

The northeast section of Resurrection is newer and one that I haven't given much attention...
and based on the energies present, I have been remiss in my coverage ...this being a holiday weekend and the fact that there are more recently interred departed ones in the section, there were many more visiting relatives to work around ...I did in fact have an opportunity to closely observe some of the grave side behavior that I have theorized may in fact constitute a degree of unintentional channeling ...
one group got out of the car and greeted their beloved "Auntie" while laying flowers at her headstone ..one gentleman was carrying on a conversation with an unseen participant ...many of the newer markers had enclosed candles burning from a previous visit and have new looking decorations and floral arrangements ...one particularly morose scene that I noticed as this session drew to a close was a group of younger looking adults huddles in lawn chairs around a graveside adorned with teddy bears flowers and teddy bears ...one terribly distraught looking mourner was laying on the ground in a sleeping bag closest to the marker ...when our eyes met as I solemnly rolled by I was inundated with this almost debilitating sadness that hit me in the usual spot just below the breastbone....

Unseasonably mild weather and a seasonably light schedule promoted me to return to Mt Carmel to resume my search for Al Capone's grave and knowing that is is simply a nondescript in-ground marker and the lack of precise coordinates on the web hasn't helped much...
I again found myself distraught over the ordinate seeming amount of child graves from the early 1900's that research has revealed is attributed to the introduction of toxins and carcinogens as a result of the industrial age in Chicago...

Quote
After his release, Capone retired from the public view to his mansion in Miami Beach. It was said that he spent the next eight years wavering between lucidity and psychosis. Some believe that it may have been the ghost who actually drove Capone to insanity. Those who scoff would say that Capone's early senility had produced the so-called phantom, but Capone actually spoke of it years before.
While Capone had once killed off most of his enemies, he could not get rid of one of the spirits. It was the ghost of James Clark, the brother-in-law of Bugs Moran and a St. Valentine's Day Massacre victim, who Capone claimed hounded him from 1929 to his grave. There were many times when Capone's employees would hear him begging for the ghost to leave him in peace... and this was in his lucid pre-Alcatraz days. On several occasions, his bodyguards broke into his rooms, fearing that someone had gotten to Capone, only to have their boss tell them of Clark's ghost.
Could Capone have created this ghost out of guilt for his many misdeeds? Possibly, but for a man who had been responsible for the deaths of more than 500 people... why create only one ghost?
And again, for those who believe the ghost was created out of Capone's madness.... why did he contact a psychic named Alice Britt to get rid of the ghost.... in 1931, years before the ravages of the disease would effect his mind?
Many believe the ghost of James Clark followed Capone to his grave. The ex-crime boss of Chicago died on January 25, 1947 of bronchial pneumonia and a brain hemorrhage in Florida. He was returned to Chicago and buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Later, he was moved in secret to Mt. Carmel Cemetery, where he remains today.

I was planning on a dramatic crescendo for my next visit but as a forum member elsewhere pointed out: Big Al's grave location is rather well documented online and relatively easy to find...and I thanked him for pointing that out  :x ....b

By suggestion I accompanied one of my associates to Lowell Indiana this weekend to investigate a library and two of the local graveyards there that are reportedly the locations of numerous sightings and continued activity according to local lore ... the first cemetery we visited has graves ranging from the turn off the century to the recently interred, I took several shots there using a range of settings and flash options but only got orbs in the second shot after leaving the car for some reason (below) I kept my shields in tact for the remainder of the evening based on the impressions i got along with the lone orbs  during the initial first 2 minutes out of the car  ... The next site was a much older graveyard closer to the center of town and next to the (newer) Lowell library that is alleged to have been investigated by an Indiana PI group following reports of inexplicable activity there ...there are supposedly some enticing EVPs captured there but I have been with out success locating them thus far but will continue looking and add if found ...a combination return to the library (while it's open) in conjunction with "The Kaske House" (while it's open) will serve as a follow up to the "Hoosier Halfhand" expansion project ...

Here are the unedited (compressed) photos from this weekend's excursion to Lowell Indiana's combined sites 3-7-09 (67 total)
