Title: Dream diving, who here is familiar with this?
Post by: nick on December 27, 2010, 09:11:00 AM
Hey did you know that dream diving is a form of astro projection?
And that more people are capable of this than we would like to think.

Please explain what you mean by "Dream Diving"

Dream diving is the ability to go into another persons dreams while you are between conscious and subconscious,
of course some people are able to do it while they are in a fully subconscious state and others can do it while the person they are trying to help is fully conscious but that's very rare.

Don't double post, then.
And that more people are capable of this than we would like to think.

A single person capable of doing it would be one more than I think could.

I did this when my husband (fiance at the time) was in basic. I visited him every night up until something intercepted me, then I had to be sneaky to visit him.

Causing chaos and bringing pain to those who are horrible to others puts a smile on my face. But I will never bring any of that down upon the people that I care about. *<:)

Nick, that's another double post.  You really must remember to use the modify button mate.  Try really hard to not make me remind you again ok.

Now that that business is out of the way may I ask what your dream was about?

I'm going to share a recent dream I had.  If this doesn't belong here, nick please tell me and I'll take it out of your welcome thread.
It was a semi-lucid, visiony type dream.

There are four things I remember about this dream.  I have tried to see what each of these mean or what I can draw from them.

I was in the store room of a grocery store or butcher shop.  I was on a path, blocked by a table so I could either go forward or backward.  While going forward, there was a large man with a large pet, the size of a crocodile.  He was coming towards me.  It seemed he wasn't going to stop so I turned around, as it would have been rude to try to shove him out of the way.  I walked in the other direction and in front of me was a door.
I don't remember actually stepping through the door.
Events prior to this occurred but I can't remember them, which also is meaningful to me.

My body sizzled, by which I mean there was a tremendous tingling sensation and I went out of body, saw my body, and it was a shimmering yellow energy, and it was buckled upon the reception of the energy with its hands to its face.
Then I came back into my body and saw in street lights a structure with many windows, all black.  I was still located in a black zone.  There were lights embedded within the windows.  Tall and thin rectangular-shaped, bright lights behind which there was nothing but black.
Reflecting on it now, it feels like I was being watched from within the windows.  That odd eerie presence I have felt many times before returned.

Then I suddenly saw my face an inch away from mind (mine), bathed in sunlight.  My eyes had that particular glint characteristic of being in a bright light.  The eyes were just looking at me, and mine at them.
Then I came to.

in the dream I went on a date with this girl and she turned out to be a vampire,
to make a long story short, I took her to my hotel room she started biting me then three other lady vampires came into the room and eventually it wasn't so fun anymore I could actually bite wounds on my body when I woke up this morning but their wasnt a scratch on my body, I can still kinda feel them now. I haven't had a dream that vivid in at least 4 months.

I can pull two pistols, jump over your head in slow mo, and get thirteen critical hits (headshots) before I hit the ground on the other side.

Seems like they certainly like moving, locking, and deleting threads here.  Kind of makes freethought a bit less fun.
Title: Re: Dream diving, who here is familiar with this?
Post by: chaoticpsyche on January 01, 2011, 10:59:15 PM
The reason why we move, lock and delete threads is because they don't meet a certain expectation that we like to keep here on monstrous. Free thought is accepted so long as it consists of proper grammar, punctuation and actually has some meaning. For example, the drunken conversations thread, this site is PG-13, Why should we have a drunken conversations thread when there might possibly be kids reading it?

Yes we are adults here, however, There are some who are under age on this site, seeing as the age requirement is 17 to sign up. It's not that we wish to take away free thinking, it's that we like to keep up the reputation that we have as a knowledgeable group of monsters here.

Contrary to the image I apparently have, I'm not in RL a jackass like I've come across here. And for that jack assery I do apologize.  I think there is a lot I can learn from folks here.
