Ever since I broke up with this guy 2 years ago, I've been having dreams about him. Sometimes in the dreams we're just friends, sometimes we're together or getting back together and sometimes the dreams are sexual and rarely is he just there and not a main part of my dream. The dreams about him weren't frequent at first but now I dream about him at least once a week and it can't be just a coincidence, can it?
I just want to know what this means, to only dream of him. No other ex-boyfriends.
If it helps, he was the guy I was ever serious about and I was in love with him.
He now lives thousands of miles away and we talk maybe once every few months through Facebook.

I think you answered your own question. Our dreams can show us our deepest wants and desires. You said you were very serious and in love. You havnt got over him because you remain in contact and due to this you have never broke your feelings for him. You are allowing your feelings to linger, holding on to the emotional connection through your contact. Either meet someone new and move on or break the connection with him. One or the other.
