Title: No clue what the heck this means
Post by: Regina Terra on October 17, 2008, 09:08:26 AM
I had a dream last night, in which I as some sort of human/monster. I was all in black, & I appeared VERY similar to my character, Seera, in my RP thread.

I even had the same ponytail for my hair.

I was using some sort of evil magic, at the cost of people's lives. I can till see this image, crystal clear. Of me standing & having all these black & dark purple energy waves & tentacles coiling around me.

But because I was female, I apparently had some sort of choice, so I became good. I remember vaguely going to this school thingy, & learning to harness some type of fiery orange, & sparkly gold energy, & the a type of crossbow thingy sprang up out of my ARM.

I learned to use it, & it shot these bolts of gold energy/material out from between my middle, & ring finger. So it hurt the evil monster human things both spiritually, & physically. It stayed hidden in my arm, but every time I made a fist, it would spring up.

I remember hunting these creatures like some sort of warped human. All of the evils inside their souls taken on a physical aspect.

I can still see the swirling colors, the black & purple battling the gold & red every time my bolt struck true. It's almost hypnotic in my memory, which is what really bothers me. Almost all of my dream are completely forgotten after I wake up, or they fade soon after, this one isn't. The more I remember, to type i up, the more it becomes crystal clear. The stronger, & more vibrant those colors become.

Can anyone explain this sudden change?

It's quite possible that it is just a manifestation of the game you're playing. It's staying with you because it's actually something you're doing in real life.. playing the game that is.

I'm not playing any games though, other than in the RPG board. :?

That's exactly what I just said. The game you're playing on the RPG board. It's manifesting itself in your dreams. That happened to me when I was 8 and first started playing video games. My mind had a hard time seperating reality and games.

Hi Reg,

you know what I'd be really interested to read about this dream in as much detail as you can remember.
The more intricate details the better. What happened before it,  what happened afterwards ?
You could treat it as an exercise in dream recollection. How deeply can you call back the sensations?

Okay, here it is.

It started with me seeing myself standing in some sort of whirlwind of black, & dark purple energy. I remember that the purple energy made these weird, howling faces as they rose up around me. While the black energy had these lightnings through them. I was wearing all black leather, some of it armor, some just clothes. I knew that most of it was made from dead humans. I was covered in this leather from neck to toes, with only my hands & face showing. My hair was pulled back tightly enough into a long ponytail that at first glance it looks like I am wearing a black leather cap. I was pretty tall, & had white, almost glowing, skin.

After that, the scene switched to me laying on my back, exhausted, weak, & on the brink of death. This old woman, with short gray/silver hair, was standing over me. We were in some sort of forest/jungle, with extremely large amounts of fauna. I knew that she was offering me a deal that would let me keep my life, & also make me much stronger. She had brought me to the state that I was in, an old hag, with this foreign, poisonous energy of brilliant gold, & fiery red. Like sunlight & magma mixed into an elixir sweet enough to make one vomit. So I accepted. I wanted that energy, I wanted to be strong enough to never be beaten ever again. I wanted to be MORE than the mere beast I was.

After that, there was only a single scene of me being in the view of this large building, all vine covered, like a lost temple. I think that this was the school where I learned to harness the red & gold energy.

Then I was running through the forest, I was tracking something, one of my old kin of the dark energies. I remember standing still, & grabbing my right arm with my left hand, & flexing my right hand into a fist a couple of times, making the crossbow spring out from my arm, so I would know it would work. Then I started off on the chase again.

I was chasing a man through the forests, but I knew he wasn't human. Not completely. I can still see clearly the dart from my crossbow, how it stuck in a tree as it barely missed, sparkling in the dim light almost like a beam of sunlight made physical. I can still feel my face twisting into a vicious smile as I knew it was only a matter of time. Before I caught him.

I was caught by surprise by him trying to ambush me, he had hid behind some boulders, & sprang out at me, but he wasn't in his human form anymore. I could note all the differences between his warped, beastly form, & the howling faces in the purple energies I was once a part of.

The scene most clear in my mind is of me raising my arm up, & making a fist to point it at him horizontally. The arms of the crossbow springing out, & the golden dart I unleashed out from between my middle, & ring fingers of my fist at him.

It struck him between the eyes, & he fell to the ground, writhing in agony as my gold & red energy surrounded him, engulfing his black & purple energies as they struggled to wipe out each other.

I watched for what seemed like a long time praying he would rise up undefeated, until finally he was destroyed. I remember feeling so jealous of him for dying as what he was. & so angry, for him proving to me, just like all the others, that I was much stronger, & better off, as I was now. & that if I wanted to continue to live, I would be forced to exist forever with this aching void inside of me, eternally empty of the howling faces & thunderous lightnings.

Thanks for taking the trouble typing it out.
Well my initial assessment is that you're going to win the lottery.
Beyond that I think I'll send you a PM (where I will plead for 10% of your winnings.)

I had another weird dream last night, it is more interesting than anything else. I'm just want to share it more than figure out what it means, see if anybody else have had ones like it.

I am looking over my younger sisters shoulder as she stands accused in a void-black of a room, illuminated by a single light source far above. Across from her I see myself and my two other younger siblings. Me on my accused sisters right side, then my younger brother, then my other younger sister on her left. We are illuminated by a single light source far above us as well, as we sit behind a large golden-brown desk. All four of us wear the same brown-gold uniforms.

"Guilty," both of my brother & younger sister say at the same time from behind the desk.
"Not guilty," I say a heart beat later.

Both of them turn to look at me, once again simultaneously, with utter astonishment.

Then the scene changes, my younger brother is standing on a glacier in the middle of a restless sea of cold death. Yet oddly, a stream of bubbling lava traverses it on its way to the ocean. As he stands next to the lava, he seems barely aware of it as he watches his accused sister come off of a gold-brown ship.

"You come home on ice and fire, very unusual." he says to her as a greeting.
"I am an unusual person." is her only reply.

No idea what to make of this Reg.
However it is a cracking good dream, quite epic and mysterious.
I hope you are having fun now you are remembering more and more of your dreaming reality.
Its quite addictive and certainly beats going to bed and being unconcious all night.

Just think the better you get at this the more you are expanding the number of hours you experience each day. Every day will soon have 20% extra free.
Its like an automatic supersize option.

Lol, thanks OB. I remember telling my Mom about it, & apparently the first part is quite common in some form or another in our house, cuz she started laughing her butt off. :-D

Now that is interesting!
Which part is common?

The first part, where she is being judged. We accuse people of things all the time in our house, & we often gang up on each other. :-P

This sounds familiar to some of my first lucid dreams, especially in the fact where I was being taught by unseen teachers how to start using dream powers. This is why it has stuck in your memory so much. That when you have a lucid dream next and there is a demon attacking you or something, you will have the ability to shoot these bolts of energy out of your hands. So you need to keep remembering this dream as much as you can, especially before you go to sleep at night. This is something that can be really helpful to you in all of your dreams now. Eventually you will remember about this dream power in all your dreams, and when a threatening situation comes along, you will go lucid and remember and be able to use this dream power. Also there is a good chance you will have more "school thingy" dreams and learn even more dream powers.

I keep having dreams about my significant other's ex-gf, I keep dreaming that we have pissed off conversations, and in the end I beat her to death. This is a very violent dream, and when I wake up I still have that pissed off feeling not to mention I shake with anger.I need help explaining this because I fear that this is some future occurance and it's warning me.
I would never hurt anyone, but She is pretty much the only person I throughly wish someone would strip the flesh off of her bones and burn her alive.

that's all. please help

Maybe it's not prophetic at all and you just hate her. . .

Hmm, that does make since.
i can't really harm her in the physical world, but I can do it in my subconscious.
Interesting... very interesting.

*Laughs Maniacally*
P.s I do hate her :)

That would make my day :D
